      Could be the typical Amazon cut and paste typo off the non-recharge models. I bought these twice at different times, in both cases they were "Made in Japan".

  • Can anyone recommend a good cheap charger for these? Maybe one that can do different types of batteries like AA, AAA, etc

    These have slightly higher capacity but they're not LSD, so they lose charge pretty quickly - in my experience they're less than 50% charge within a couple of months (My Eneloops are still 70% charge after a year on the shelf). Unless you're cycling them daily, LSD cells are always better, such as Eneloop or Ladda.
