Wow great price if you add a trade in too

    • Never seen this TV, is it like a flagship QLED or somthing? Don't see many Samsung QLEDs posted on OzB. How does it compare to the 'Crystal UHD' they also have on sale here? Better to just wait the good sales on the TCL 7 series?

Trade up is $100 for whatever old TV? Might be worth for my 10 year old Panasonic, great TV but has a chip out of the corner that always displays a white lol.

Looks like this is entry level qled below Q60D

      • +2

Only sold on Samsung online. Its a budget/entry level QLED similar to Samsung Q60 but slightly below it.

Any good reviews? Is it good for the family?

        • Seems like not a good deal then, wait out for a TCL miniLED deal.

    This or the TCL 7k?

    • +8

      TCL C7K without a doubt.

    • 7K but wait a few months for a good sale.

    Only 50 Hz refresh rate.

    • 50 Hz / 60 Hz

    • +1

My understanding is that 50hz screens are basically 60hz. It is labelled as 50hz because of the broadcast standards.

Bought one. Nothing complaint for 1050 including delivery and pick up my old sharp (broken) 85inch.

      @FJ47
Have you noticed any motion blur or slow image issues due to the 50Hz refresh rate?
I’d like to check some reviews before the delivery. Also, how did you manage to get it for $1,050? Was there an additional discount available?

      • Check your bank app rewards. Some customers have $100 off on $500+ spend rewards depending on your financial institution.

@jimmyyonly: Go to the shops and view yourself directly. Human eyes are perceptive and you can only judge for yourself. Personal i want a tv that higher refresh rate as i play games.

      • Yes,the broken one trade in for 100

    • You went from 85 to 75? Why :(

      • 85 is not too big for my new place.

Tizen OS in Samsung tv, always a deal-breaker for me

    • @vikaskamboj
      Is it not good? SLow?

      • +1

It's not Google, no Google assistant and all the absence of googlee ecosystem..
If Tizen was that great why did they pull it out of their mobiles

    • Any good TV OS you would suggest?
Or alternatively any "dumb TV" brands you could suggest?

Lg looks the best bet right now, other than a little costlier Sony if u want longevity with quality. Hisense gives u bangs fr ur bucks but bangs don't last long.. tcl screen os great but you'll need a separate box, good option though..
Share ur thoughts as well about ur experiences..

        • +1

I am sure TCL is google tv just like Sony?

          • @MKBHD: Not useful of it's so slow that your tv watching experiences turns into nothing but frustration.. that's why i mentioned external box with it..

    • get a chrome TV for VLC, acestream, SmartTube etc ?

    • Yeah I'm done with it. Normal Android tv makes apps so much easier, and sideloading apps like cloudstream makes the tv so much more useful.

Other than Tizen I'm pretty happy with Samsung TVs - definitely fine for some people

    No Samsung TV for good…

    • Not good? Whats wrong?

      • No service in Oz and TV prouduct is terrible quality, it will turn on and off by its own wish.

        • Had a similar issue. Service centre sent a tech who did a software update to fix.

          • @bigbadboogieman: What kind of software updates? I updated TV software up to date.

            • @maxall: They do a firmware or some other update using a USB stick. It's not an online update.

  • Anyone have an equivalent US model that's on RTINGS?

    • That went as low as $850 not long ago. Wait for EOFY hopefully same or less.
The appliance online does include free delivery so not awful (the $850 didn’t include delivery so if you need delivery this is only $60 more)
