Hi Allan. Our merino will be significantly warmer and less itchy. The GSM difference basically means ours are thicker which makes them less susceptible to ripping or moth damage and noticeable warmer. We also use a superfine 18.5 micron for our merino thermals which makes the garment softer and less itchy against the skin. Hope that helps!
Won't superfine cause respiratory issues and build up on lung surface over time?
No that is not the case - not sure where you got that information from … In very rare cases people can be allergic to merino which can cause skin irritation and respiratory issues such as asthma but this is not from the wool being superfine - rather an allergic reaction that is very rare in humans.

these are 240gsm for $84
how much better are your products compared to Aldi version? Just thickness? How much warmer would it be? When would we buy your version compared to Aldi ones?
