Recommend Aldi’s merino under garment if you can still find your size in store. They are only $35 each.
Any body know whether you can get 10% using the lifetime membership on this one?
It doesn't seem to be working for me!
What's better about Merino thermals over your standard Uniqlo cheapies? Warmer? Better breathability?
Merino wool has antibacterial properties that result in less smelly clothing, especially if you're wearing it for a couple of days in a row on a hike. Also, if you sweat a lot or are walking in wet areas, wool will keep you warm while wet , whereas poly tends to lose its effectiveness.
poly does smell after a few days / week of wear. It is full on survival gear though - warm when wet, starts drying as soon as you're out of the rain, and is always warm when wet or dry. Wool could be all that, I don't know. I do know polypropylene though.
second what @Terra0ne said. I sometimes go for weeks wearing same thermals/t-shirt. dries fast. And I am a heavy sweater.
Bunch of other stuff in the clearance section too.
