        I'm talking subscription models for things that don't need to be subscription models, but are just a blatant cash-grab by greedy businesses trying to generate steady cash-flow to appease their shareholders.
        Things like Strava, which now hides 90% of its useful features behind the subscription paywall..
        Then there was that car manufacturer that tried to hide use of its seatwarmers behind a subscription.
        It's just manipulative, and preys on the laziness of people to remember to cancel a service after they're no longer using it.
        If I want to purchase goods/a service, let me pay a fixed price for it at the moment I want to acquire it.

          All of those things you've listed don't apply to Shopback, except perhaps the shareholder appeasing part.

          Life is easier when you accept that most businesses don't exist for the benefit of the customer, so just take advantage of the subscription models that you can (hint: SB Plus - it's practically free), and ignore the rest.

    Direct link here didn’t work - ended up finding it via “Plus” page - however it says “Ended 26 Apr” without an option to opt in or anything .. banner even says “today only”

    Also says 26 April down the bottom..

    I just signed up for SB Plus for the first time and it's supposed to be free the first month but it took $4.99 from my current cashback - the chatbot was no help - just told me that the SB Plus fee was non refundable. Also does anyone know the Promo Code to use for the $5 off when buying a Gift Card as a SB Plus member? I looked at the page with all the Plus perks but it just says to put the promo code in but not what it actually is - unless I can't see for looking 😳 EDIT - I see what to do now - just hit Apply Promo 😏
