  • Why not 7 for same price from Amazon

Grey import sold and shipped by Buymobile, not Amazon.

        Understood thanks for clarifying

      Not lte model

      • +1

LTE model, according to reviewers, is not recommended anyway due to lower battery life and because Wifi calling is a thing already.

    • No LTE as well

  • +4

Battery life of Watch 6 with LTE won’t last you even a full day. Better spend a little more and get Watch 7, which has a much better battery life.

    • +2

I can confirm. originally it lasted maybe 2-3 days, but now I need to charge every 1-2 days, usage depending (every 2nd day if im not wearing it).
I think it the type of watch face you choose has a lot to do with it.

    • I've got an ultra and a galaxy watch 4 lte 44m. The 4 last 2 days easy.

  • Showing $349 for me

          • @shxhshzhz: With just a few extra words you could have guided the guy/gal back to the post, AND been nice. Happy to get negged for that - this place is weird 🤷‍♂️

@jackary: "Read the post" is simple and guides back to the post and the large coupon code box visible. This place is not weird, you are overcomplicating something that was never an issue

            • @jackary: Neg button not showing for me

How does it figure out your blood pressure?

    • +4

by permanently cutting off the circulation to your hand

    • +2

Uses the regular sensor it uses for your pulse. You calibrate it with real readings from an actual blood pressure monitor and it guesstimates it. So not actual readings Watch 7 I believe has a better sensor, so more accurate. Still going to be plus/minus a certain amount though. Would definitely track changes which I guess is the real point. If you have high blood pressure the first thing they will do is put you on a 24hr monitor as it does vary a lot. One reading doesn't mean jack, especially not if it is at the doctors. Mine spikes massively whenever I go.

      • does it have ability to read blood sugar?

        • Best any current watch can do is link with a CGM so you can get readings/alarms on the watch, but it isn't actually measuring anything. From what I've seen though Samsung will likely be first to the market with native blood sugar. Again though, won't actually be measuring blood sugar. They are using AI to look at the relationship between what the IR sensor can measure and actual blood sugar. No idea how accurate that will end up being. Do believe there are companies using similar techniques, but much more powerful IR through a finger to get very accurate readings. On the plus side, since it is based on blood, at least wouldn't be any delay.

  • Terrible battery life, barely usable as a fitness tracker due to constant need of charging

    • I was just about to ask these Qs.
I bought a Galaxy Watch 3 (or 4) from OW a couple of years back and ended up returning it unopened after reading it was about battery life, and also that it was mostly tied to the Samsung eco-system.

Is that still an issue, too?

      • Similar issue, but not as bad. It lasts around 24 hours, but that means you’re either missing some heart rate data daily (if you’re efficient and charge it in the day, so you only miss ~2 hrs data) or all the sleep data (charging over night)

Apparently full battery saver mode you can get 48 hours, not a week like the Garmins though

      • I have slightly smaller GW6 40mm so battery charge is about 1 day when used for sleep tracking too. It is quick to charge so that can be manageable. A few features are exclusive to Samsung phone like ECG, Blood pressure monitoring if you need that.

    • I've got one - charge every 3 days, this includes going to the gym for 1 hr per day with the tracker on.

      • Bit better than the older series then, but it still depends on how you use it

I still rather a set and forget 7day+ battery life

        • Yes, and don't forget batteries diminish over time, especially when recharged regularly and past 80% etc.
If it's barely adequate to start with, it's going to be troublesome in 6 months or so.

  • Are they selling the same model refurbished at the same price?? https://www.mobileciti.com.au/samsung-galaxy-watch6-44mm-lte…

  • Would anyone recommend upgrading from the watch 4 to the watch 6?

    • +1

I'd just wait for the watch 8, usually announced around end of June; Upgrading the watch 4 to 6 isn't too noticeable.
The latest generation watch 7 on the other hand, substantially faster, better sensors, etc worlds apart in terms of usability performance.

  • I have a 5 pro and I'm currently on 8% battery after 6d 7h of usage. The idea of charging every day should not be something you're considering in 2025 imo.

    • On watch only mode? Samsung officially says it's upto 3 days battery only.

  • Are these any good for golf gps?
