Seems to be a decently spec'd screen for a decent price.

Omen 32Q seems like great value too, for not much more $$:

  • Does this one have built-in KVM?

      It does not.

What's a good budget price for kvms?

$279 for 31.5" QHD, IPS, 165Hz . .WOW thats just crazy good value

      And instant tax write off

      • When I include shipping the total comes to $307, is the monitor purchase price still instant tax write off or would the total purchase price ruin it?

  • Does this support VRR over HDMI? No review on rtings for this monitor and reddit isn't helping.

    • Is it a thing for monitors to support freesync over DP but not HDMI? Surely if the listing states freezing FreeSync then it's either input?

  • FYI, I think the title is wrong, it doesn't seem to be free delivery as it's a "bulky" item?

    • C&C is free (as it should be).

      • Oh my bad, I didn't read the title properly. Hahaha.

      no

I feel the HP Omen 31.5 is a better buy @ $320 delivered

Gigabyte have produced some winners and absolute dog turd monitors.. so without reviews I'd be wary

    • Link?

Searching "omen 31.5" qhd" on Google yielded no eBay results.

Searching "omen 31.5" qhd" on eBay yielded the correct link + voucher, sure. But I'm not going to individually search every online retailer I know.

Thanks for being a prick about it.

My Gigabyte M27Q has bought the farm after only 3 years. Very wary of their monitors now

Opposite boat here, i've had mine since early 2021 and still holds up well for me, KVM switch working flawlessly with gaming pc and laptop. I even did a bodge spray can job on it without even taping half the ports and didn't cause any issues

        • Hey mate, I've got this and tried the KVM with gaming with dual monitor and laptop but can't have a good setup.

How did you connect yours up?

    • Where are you finding it at that price?!?

      • Ebay.
        With discount code

    • Which code are you using to get that price? I think the code may now be invalid?

      • Yes.. well it was posted almost a month ago

That's good. QHD monitor prices are lower and lower.

    • Cheap dual mode monitor (4k/FHD) starts flooding Chinese market.

  • On the fence as currently have a Gigabyte G34WC and it has VA/144hz. It actually shows it's a big difference when I borrowed an LG IPS/165Hz and paired with a 9070XT. Not sure if Im going with Gigabyte again or just try my luck on this Asus one but 27".

Will wait for Ozbargain reviews for this GS32Q before deciding.

VA to IPS will be a very noticeable upgrade for that alone.

      • Agreed.. I would never use a VA monitor for gaming.. the smearing just ruins the experience

  • this seems pretty incredible, paid this exact price a month ago for the GS27QA

  • Mine just arrived, impressively fast delivery.

Have you had a chance to set it up and use it yet am interested for gaming and work

      • Yes i'm using it now.

I'm still figuring stuff out like it allowed me to go through different picture modes and now it doesn't despite resetting it and the colours look bland despite HDR being on to the point in EA FC25 i couldn't tell the difference between pale blue and white when selecting my footballer. But i imagine these are user errors rather than the monitor being an issue.

Edit: I have to turn off HDR in windows to get the picture menu to pop up on the monitor. Still working stuff out

Thanks for the update, good luck with setting everything up let me know how it feels once that's all sorted about to bite the bullet on this or the hp deal as i need a few for work lol

          • @Lz ShifTy: I sent this deal and the HP Omen one to my friend who works at a computer shop and he was strongly of the opinion this one would be much less of a headache warranty wise than the HP. Hence I chose this one.

            • @qaz182: What are your thoughts now that you've had some time with it?

              • +1

@z00m: If I had my time over, I probably wouldn't have bought it. Not because it's not a good monitor (it is solid), but because it's not such a huge upgrade over my other 1440p monitor and was probably a bit of a waste for me to not just waiting on an OLED.

                But it is good

                • +1

@qaz182: Really appreciate your feedback. I'm upgrading from a 13 year old 24" 1080p so sounds like this monitor is a decent upgrade :-)

                  • +1

@z00m: Coming from 1080p, I think you'd be very happy with it.

  • My G3223D just died :(

    • how old was it?
