Baileys Original Irish Cream Liqueur 700mL $35 + $12 Delivery ($0 C&C) @ BWS

680

Based on the original deal for 40% Cashback at BWS today, capped at $30 per transaction.

A 700ml bottle of Baileys is already on special for $35. After cashback it comes down to $211, which appears to be the cheapest price in many years. Should be worth posting as its own deal.

Also great value:

Tanqueray London Dry Gin 700mL, on special for $55, comes down to $33 after cashback.

Fireball Cinnamon Flavoured Whisky, on special 2 for $90, comes down to $60 after cashback. $30 a bottle ($42.85/l). Or even better if you don't mind the size: the 1.14l bottle, on special for $70, comes down to $42 after cashback ($36.84/l).

I had 2 orders track successfully within an hour of placing them.

Additional: Check your Everyday Rewards app. I just found a Collect 1800 points when you spend $50 or more on spirits at BWS. That's another $9, so, order #3, here I come!

  1. Reminder - According to Shopback, you won't get Cashback on: Fees such as Taxes · Shipping and delivery. The Cashback / rebate calculations provided by the deal poster (OP) might not be accurate.

How do you activate the Everyday Rewards offer? Do you need to do the whole transaction on mobile?

    • +1

Boost in the app, then place a click and collect order after clicking through from Shopback.

      • Thanks!

    • +1

My BWS account is linked to my Everyday Rewards number. I "Boosted" the offer in the Everyday Rewards App, but purchased from BWS on my computer.

That Rewards offer is targeted. My partner has "1600 points on $40 spend at BWS" (not limited to spirits).

You might have something different or nothing at all.

      • Thank you!

      • Mine's a few points for $120 spend meh I only spent $92

  • Thank you. Got 2.

    Buffalo trace bourbon ( 2 for $110 ) currently

    I'm old Gregggg!

  • your calculations can't be correct, because as you say it's capped at $30

    • The cashback is capped at $30 per transaction.

Shopback seems to include GST for BWS. That means you get the maximum cashback for an order amount of $75.

      • shopback, cashback, rewardsback whaatttt how did you reach the numbers you are claiming then?

        • Shopback.

If you look at the edit history my post made that very clear.

Not sure why a mod felt they needed to edit it into something that makes no sense any more. Sorry about that. Feel free to give feedback to the moderators…

  • Has anyone completed multiple transactions from the same account successfully? Can't see a T&C saying it is limited to one transaction

    • no, ….have you? the numbers don't make sense from the OP.

      • No i was waiting for someone to confirm before pulling the trigger.

    • Yes. 3 successful.

Then another 2 orders cancelled by BWS, which is weird. Currently on hold trying to find out what went wrong. I doubt it's this promo, more likely some fraud prevention / credit card thing.

      • you are claiming numbers that don't make sense

        • A 1.14litre fireball does not come down to $42

          • @9hundred: $70 product gets $28 cashback from Shopback. Comes to $42 final cost.

            • @team teri: ok, so I need shopback, not cashback

              • @9hundred: Yes, as I wrote: no idea why a moderator changed the post to make it so confusing. I am not impressed.

                • @team teri: bloody mods overmodulating

                  • +2

@9hundred: Maybe also a little hint: cashback is the process of getting kick backs for your shopping.

There are several providers, ShopBack, Top Cashback, and CashRewards are the ones I have accounts with. Provider names overlapping with the actual process is confusing too, I am sure intentionally so by the providers ;-)

No mention of westpac bonus 8% cashback?

ahhhhhh mannnnn these cashback shopback loopback rewards and this and that when i try to order in the app it just says total saved equals $36 for 3 bottles of 700ml bailies, so how do i know the real amount or do i just need to hope that it all went correctly and tracked and all that malaki. I bought a sim card once before using cashback and they never gave me any cash back!!!

  • Bought 2 x Baileys = $70. Paid $10 with Rewards, have an offer for 1600 points for $40 spend (worth $8) and got cashback confirmed at $28.

Net cost $24 for 2 bottles.

That's odd that it tracked, because the T&Cs state "Transactions paid using WOW Rewards or Woolworths Dollars are not eligible for Cashback." I hope it comes through for you though.

      • Yeah that's a bit stingy

      • It just did - $28! So I suspect they can't tell you paid with Rewards - or don't care.

        • That's interesting when it particularly says cashback not eligible paid with Rewards

    • +1

Pay with rewards could be ineligible for cashback in BWS terms

    • nahh i don't think so….dreaming

    • Good luck regarding getting cashback confirmed.

      • yeah fat chance, they never return cash in my experience

    • +1

Just got my $28 cashback confirmed with Shopback.
