Nothing like ghostly artifacts on my brand new oled
27" 4K 240Hz glossy QD-OLED for $977.
Also, frame gen has processing time, so you want native frames up around 75-90 before flipping it on.
Good step change down in price for a 32" 16:9 glossy QD-OLED. Worth noting that only the HDMI port supports 4k/120 @ 10 bit colour depth. The USB-C port does DP 1.4 which can only display 8 bit colour depth.
The huge chin looks ugly though.
The thick bottom bezel houses 5 forward-facing 5W speakers and a position sensor for "3D spatial sound".
Personally I'd rather supply my own quality speakers (as most do) instead of relying on the little inbuilt ones. Hopefully they release a version without speakers and slim down the chin.
So you just use your iPhone wired headphones?
This code works for the 32" curve as well. Alienware 32 4K QD-OLED Gaming Monitor - AW3225QF. @1500.after recent price drop.
Is the text sharp enough just for browsing, and few work on excel?
Doesn’t work on the Thunderbolt ultrasharps.
yes - with some colour fringing due to triangular sub-pixel layout

not sure if the QC has same panel as the QF
Code works with Alienware 27 4K QD-OLED Gaming Monitor - AW2725Q
This would be a nice drop in replacement for my G3223Q - ahh but 120hz vs 144hz.
Not a tempting enough price anyway.Would be very impressed if you could tell 120Hz vs 144Hz in a blind taste test
Me too but it's still a factor to consider.
I was in the identical boat where I went from a VA 144Hz to an OLED 120Hz and the refresh rate did not cross my mind even once, the picture quality of the OLED absolutely blew the VA away, if that ever helps a future decision :)
@deanylev: What VA did you have? I am considering an OLED, but I currently have the neo G7 and I think maybe the improvement might not be worth it
@Maxfarsigth: I had an AOC CU34G2X, it was a particularly atrocious panel. I can tell you that an OLED is going to be a huge jump from any LCD though.
What does 24Hz taste like?
How are you supposed to taste a monitor when you’re blind? 🤔
Still a great monitor. Not worth it with that bottom bezel!
Yeah the chin is terrible
Was just thinking I should have saved up for this instead of the G3223Q refurb I just got a month ago.
Depends on your use case, gaming QDOLED, productivity G3223Q
How does this compare to the Alienware?
I really would like usb c
does it have vrr on dp?
Is this definitely a glossy display? couldn't see anything that suggested that (maybe didn't look hard enough)
Love the design of this with built in speakers. Shame it might be using a gen 3 panel https://tftcentral.co.uk/articles/gen-4-samsung-qd-oled-2025…
A gen 4 panel might tempt me but I’m kinda more excited about the ASUS TrueBlack glossy woleds: https://rog.asus.com/articles/gaming-monitors/32-inch-glossy…
27“ cost $400, and 1100 for 32"? Not a deal, almost 3 times more expensive for extra 5", not worthy
One is OLED, the other is not.
good pick up, that make sense.
To be fair to you, the model numbers are identical other than the display size indication:
S2725QC - 27" IPS
S3225QC - 32" OLEDPretty ridiculous that they don't distinguish between two entirely different display types. Just change a single letter FFS!
If anyone wanted to buy this, I would be happy to swap for my barely used <6mo AW3225QF. I really prefer a flat screen, rather than curved.
Eyeing this monitor off as well, currently have a G3223Q. Dell sales said it's "anti-reflective" but not matte. I also asked about dead/stuck pixel and burn-in warranty, but I'm still waiting to get an email clarifying these points.
Anyone want to trade for a AW3225QF?
60fps at 4k base, Multi Frame Gen, bam 240Hz. Easy.
But really, a rare glossy option for QD-OLED for those interested.
