Herman Miller Aeron Graphite Size B Fully Adjustable Arms $2024 + $80 Delivery @ Living Edge

1240

This is the sale I've been holding out for.

Herman Miller isn't for everybody and I highly recommend sitting in one before buying - my old work had the Aeron size C classic and they were really good to sit in. Also recently tried the Vantum and that wasn't too bad either.

Delivery Costs
* Standard Shipping $80: Door-to-door service only. Excludes assembly and rubbish removal.
* Delivery & Assembly (Metro Only) $110: Includes delivery, assembly (if required) and packaging removal. Excludes electrical, wall & joinery installation. Kindly note, this service is only available in metro Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth. Should you require this service outside of these areas, please contact them for a quote.

    • I think second hand aerons are overrated. I tested a creaky old size B and it really didn't feel that good. 1. it's the older model. 2. all the components are physically aged.

  • I got a great chair from jason.l in Brisbane a few years ago for $400, Shrike Mesh Back With Arm. $445 these days.

Great quality, as good as anyone would need, better than your common work furniture. In can guarantee the Herman wouldn't be 4-5x better.

  • Owned a Mirra 2 chair near when it was released. Gave to missus. Bought myself a Sihoo M57 and they're on par in terms of comfort (mind you one's hard back, the other mesh). Have used the original Aeron B back in my last job, and find no signficant difference in comfort. I'm 6'1 and pretty fat.
    YMMV

For this price point, I'd want heated and ventilated (at the same time if I want) as a minimum.

The mesh vents your farts right through without muchs peed/scent reduction so you don't have to have the fart contained within the cushions like in other chairs.

  • Any cashback or giftcards to use for the purchase? Thanks

  • That's some price, but, after swapping from an Officeworks chair to one my employer was getting shot of (later looked up what I paid $20 for, $519 new), I completely appreciate the value of spending the money on something you spend a third of the day on sometimes. I'd definitely look into the higher end ones if replacing, though I'm happy with what I've got for now, as soneone with chronic back pain it's made more difference than I expected it to.

Just adding my thoughts considering a lot of people will probably balk at the price. Edit - OLG Optic with arms, that's the one I procured, in case anyone's wondering. Whole load bought new for a temp site office, would have been skipped if the staff didn't purchase.
