It's a safe bet that any shop branding their own lock that also sells folding baths and coffee is not bringing a good lock to the market. Abus, Kryptonite and a few other newer brands are the ones you want.
For those with bike insurance, please note that not all locks "approved" for insurance purposes. If it's not explicitly listed on some approved locks list somewhere, you may have to ask your insurance provider to check.

The issue with bike locks now is cordless power tools. Granted a bike lock is way better than no lock.
