super short C to C cable
    0.2m

    It has a good personality

    • What happens if you plug it into itself?

      • +2

I read on one anker model that it resets the power bank. I don't recommend doing it on any power bank though.

If you get enough of them and you connect it to a DeLorean, it can go back in time.

Just checked the 10000mAh with the watch charger and the 20000mAh 45W not heavily discounted.

  • I had one of these and the true capacity is questionable. Equal size Cygnett would charge my S23 twice whereas this 1.5

  • Can you charge the powerbank and use it at the same time? If you disconnect the incoming power, does it disrupt power to whats consuming the powerbank?

    • I don't know sorry. but I was told it's technically impossible to charge and use a battery at the same time.

if you are using it while charging, it's taking power from the charger and passing it to the phone, what's left over is charging the battery.

because it charges quite slow I don't expect it to be awesome fast when doing both. like if you charge your phone that will take most of the power, and like 2W~3W left for the battery which will take forever to charge.

      • I was told it's technically impossible to charge and use a battery at the same time

        Tested-twice on INIU 10000mAh 22.5W power-bank & MY mobile phone…it works.

        Likely BOTH,
        a.power-bank &/or
        b.mobile-device
        dependent…YMMV?

        • sorry I should have been more clear.

it's technically impossible to charge and discharge a battery (cell inside powerbank) at the same time.

so what happens is if the charging circuit inside powerbank (before power reaches battery) is designed to allow pass through, it passes through the USB charger power to the phone that's plugged into the power bank (phone charges) and then the remainder of the power coming from USB charger goes to charge the powerbank battery.

if the powerbank charges slow to begin with (in this case 25W max - but realistically at a rate of 10W-18W), then there is very little power left over after pass through to charge the actual powerbank battery. hope this is more clear.

    • I've got one. Just tested it. Yes it interrupts briefly on connect and disconnect.

    • +1

fyi if you don't want it to disrupt the power when plugging, I think you are looking for a power bank with UPS function. (Uninterruptible Power supply)

afaik only one power bank claimed and confirmed to have UPS function, Xiaomi No.20 ($139).

  • anyone got the 50 dollar voucher code

I got two of these for $5.xx with the$50 EOFY code. They didn't had any minimum spend applied on the code before.

    • Please share how

    • How, can't apply the code

    • They do. It is $200 minimum spending

Thanks for reading. So, actually I don't know whether everybody got the code at same time from Samsung but I got it around 2 pm yesterday and $200 minimum requirement was written in the email however when I tried using the code it applied without the $200 limit. Then later on, they applied the limit.

      ok thanks missed that.

      I was reading this "Fast Wired Charging In&Out (SFC/PD/ in/out max.25 W )" didn't mention PPS specifically.

  • getting this at $21 with all the deals from today, nice!

I have this one. I have alot of (7+) more expensive power banks. This is still my go-to for slipping into my pocket because of the form factor.
It's very slim and fits in the pocket nicely. Plastic construction is way better than the aluminium shell of previous one.

I believe it has PPS because it does Samsung Super Fast Charging 1.0 in my phone
The only power bank that does Super Fast Charging 2.0 is a 100W PPS one (I believe it needs 45W for this).

    • 67+ votes: why is it a good-deal (spec. &/or price) compare to INIU 10000mAh 22.5W $13 ? https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/899350

      Candid-disclosure: maybe Samsung should advise device-charging/rated-energy…capturing the efficiency-rating ~ 60% / total-energy-loss ~40% @ the DEVICE being-charged? https://www.reddit.com/r/Ultralight/comments/1eqhjir/nitecor…

    • Samsung 10000mAh 25W
      Mobile-phone charging: 15W (5V @ 3A) by this power-bank ?

      25W max. output: 9V @ 2.77A…not sure what device need 9V charging? https://www.samsung.com/au/mobile-accessories/10-000mah-batt…

INIU 10000mAh 22.5W as per link above
      Mobile-phone charging: 15W (5V @ 3A)

      22.5W max. output: 12v @ 1.5A

      • not sure what device need 9V charging?

samsung phones. pretty sure 9V is the common for their Super Fast Charge spec. at least for modern Samsung phones 45 watts is 9V 5A.

        • Thanks & getting traction with this post 👍

  • How does this compare to the amazon ones?

Are Samsung batteries allowed on planes?

  • It uses Lishen pouch cells and a Chipsea CS32G020K8U6 chip, basically a glorified AliExpress power bank. The price likely reflects that.

    • thanks for the info.

Lishen pouch cells and a Chipsea CS32G020K8U6 chip

not 100% sure what both of those mean. but tbh for a long time I had a bad impression of pouch cells as well, until I bought the INIU and started using it.
(old news but Apple watch and Samsung phone had the swelling issue)

so I just thought pouch cells aren't good for a long time. pretty sure INIU power banks use pouchcells and I am very happy with it so far.

  • Samsung makes good safe batteries, with no recent failures… aside from the Note 7

    • yeah tbh happy with this power bank had it for years now.

I don't have a Samsung phone but for Samsung users I guess it's a easy buy.

  • +1

Have this, and UX is much better than all my previous 10+ power banks, INIU, Anker included.
Dont really need to compare specs other than capacities.

    • Would you mind elaborating how it's better?

      • +1

Super fast charge my s25 ultra. Can work as a watch charger. Only get to moderately hot when changing 2 phones at the same time. Fully charge my s25 with about half juice left. Indicator is pretty accurate. My other charger goes from half to empty in like a flash. Doesn't feel fragile as my iniu. Etc etc.

  • Thanks OP . Bought one. Had a 20 dollar voucher left over with the release of the 25 phone which i had forgotten about. So got this for 7.90 delivered. Bargain.

  • I bought two but have found that I can’t get the battery packs themselves to charge. They’ve been charging for hours / overnight, the indicator lights are blinking but haven’t charged the charge level. My other Nitecore battery pack charges fine from the same port and setup. Anyone have any ideas?

Documentation online (it didn’t come in the packaging?!) says I need a Samsung approved charger which is sold separately but I cannot find what that is to check what I’m doing wrong.

    • Try another charger or cable. "Samsung Approved" is nonsense.

    • +1

doesn't need a samsung charger. I just plug it in to a anker USB-C charger it charges up just fine.

They’ve been charging for hours / overnight, the indicator lights are blinking but haven’t charged the charge level.

Documentation … (it didn’t come in the packaging?!)

maybe you got some dud returns.

but I have a funny feeling there was no user manual inside the box either.

      • hmm that’s odd. I’ve tried multiple chargers and cables too. Just tried a laptop charger (higher wattage) and one of them charged to full but the other one is still dead and won’t charge.

Samsung’s website says there’s no manual for this product…

        Gonna have to return :(

  • Received mine from Amazon and super fast charging works with my S23U. Unfortunately doesn't run my camera which I believe requires 45W PD.
