Was looking for laptop/school backpack and stumbled upon this 40% off. Possibly a good value for some.
I ended up getting this : https://www.samsonite.com.au/guardit-2/lapt.backpack-l-17-3/…

Really? I did not know that, thanks for letting me know.
Buying bags is like buying furniture. Or rugs. If you’re paying more than 40% off you’re paying too much
Since when are Apple products 40% off?
I get Dumb and Dumber vibes every time I hear the word Samsonite.
Mary Samsonite was just a girl!
Seems all overpriced especially at larger sizes even with discount
Nah the ultralites/firelites etc lightweight hard cases are in a league of their own. Show me a better case for the price.
Any recommendations on good luggage that is durable and lightweight (<4kg) in the 75cm size. Samsonite or another brand?
By the way there is also 10% welcome code or 10% cashrewards.
The lightest and decent quality is probably antler. Samsonite does charge abit premium for lightest. Nothing else will have quality for weight.
The welcome discount is only for full priced.
HONEYSAVE10 works fine for me for the extra 10% 🤷
I love my July luggage, brought it for the lifetime warranty as I travel overseas every 2nd month for work but 2yrs in and it hasn’t missed a beat. I got both the carry on and checked.
Reviews are terrible and apparently customer service useless. 😕
I can only speak from my experience, thankfully I haven't had to use their customer service yet.
Tosca offers really lightweight suitcases for much lower prices. I am a big fan.
Do they last? Not that they can be trusted but Product Review was pretty scathing.
Whats the best recommended travel / laptop backpack here?
I bought this for both work and travel,
https://www.samsonite.com.au/coatify-biz/backpack-15-inch/ss… plus Cashrewards
Pros - water resistance, locking zip for the laptop section only
Cons - locking zip for the laptop section only, no side pouches for umbrellas or water bottles, no drawstrings for shoes, clothing etc, front storage pockets are limited
For those considering - these are great suitcases. I have had one of mine for 20 years and one for over 10. The latter was recently damaged in transit by the Q airline, and Samonsite customer service in providing a quote and repairs was second to none.
Did you go to luggage desk and report it? They usually pay for the repairs
10% off first order too so bought a suitcase for our upcoming trip. Cashrewards is showing 20% off as well, so if that tracks, I'll have scored a genuine bargain.
Not sure if Cashrewards tracks it, but I used the 10% off first order and Shopback gave me $0 cashback.
I made a claim with CR but nothing has come through yet. I'm not holding my breath. It was a good enough deal without CR.
40% off is standard for Samsonite, you should never pay more than this
