ATL according to camel x3, seems $50 cheaper than any other store, $30 cheaper than previous ATL. Black & Blue Haze also available for $5-7 more. I personally own and cannot recommend high enough - bees knees of slow cookers!

  At 1350watts it’s going to take a long time to brown a decent amount of meat once the ceramic cools down.

  Do any slow cookers have the ability to remove the cooking pot and use it on the stove to seal at higher heat?

    I thought most with a metal pot would be capable, even if not recommended by manufacturer? This one is a good solid metal pot, but they say don’t do as you describe. I think you’d be okay with a medium heat from anything other than induction though (induction does funny things over time to external surface of pots)
