It's been a good 8 months since the last time this was discounted. I've had to resort to Vitasoy in these trying times.

Time to stock up.

I buy these and send them to my mum because they're her absolute favourite. Something I'll never be…

    • +2

      :(

    • +2

      not with that attitude

      • Somehow managed to order 2 lots of 6 and got a message they're being delivered today. Here's to hoping I can climb closer to 2nd favorite!

  • +9

    purchased 93 times

bezos says "This item cannot be shipped to your selected delivery location"

Another prime order now not available to regional areas.

    Thanks amazon.

  • +2

any idea why this one is better than Vitasoy?

    • +5

      The taste

      • I find this has a distinctive bean taste to it. I prefer not to have it, but also prefer not to have too much other stuff in there.

    • Yeah taste is better and it's easier to reach a nice froth consistency (imo)

    • +2

this is one of the very few alternative milks that doesn't have oils in it

      • +2

Having <1ml of vege oil in your coffee, is that bad?

        • +3

Vege oil is a certain death according to many here. (Unless it's used in copious amounts for frying KFC or similar - then it's AOK).

    • +1

No added vegetable oil. And the taste.

    • +1

Not even a contest. Even as a non soy milk drinker I can taste the difference. The missus will only drink Bonsoy in her coffee and she notices when I try and slide in a cheaper alternative on the sly.

The other soy brands either taste too nutty, too watery or taste off when frothed.

    • The taste and ability to be heated by a steam wand for coffee are better

Vitasoy has better additives in the way of more vitamins and minerals, so is a better replacement for whole milk from a nutritional perspective

best way is Bonsoy in coffee, Vitasoy for everything else

  • S&S is limiting me to 1 unit.

    • I think it may be running out of stock

    • +9

Add multiple to the cart as once-off and then in cart click on the subscribe and save link. I got 6 at s&s price that way

      • +4

        Professional

    • +7

      $2?? I dont believe you

bonsoy is great as a barista soy milk. other soy milks taste horrible in coffee imo

    • +2

IMO bonsoy is by far the best soy milk for coffee

    • +5

I've picked up bonsoy for $2 each a few times from my local grocery stores

      Sure you did.

    • +4

the nutrients content is worse than other brands and it has more sugar and fat.

You must be mistaking it for Vitasoy. Bonsoy has no added vegetable oil, and lower fat than typical soy milk. Never seen it for $2, although Vitasoy used to occasionally go for $2.

  • -1

you know there are local stores that aren't coles and wollies

  • -4

Bonsoy, for when you want a clump of soy at the bottom of your bottle.

    • -3

Has literally never happened to me, and i go through about 2 of these a week. Absolute rubbish.

      • Oh nice! I've been using it for a few years now, shake it to all hell and back each time, and still end up with a clump when I rinse the bottle out. Do you rinse the bottle out?

        • What are you on about bro. These don't come in bottles.

          • -2

@fLaMePrO: So sorry bro, carton is what I meant bro!

            • -2

@onlinepred: Yeah I dunno what you're doing wrong, are yours expired? I use every last drop of mine, never any of these 'clumps' you speak of.

              • @fLaMePrO: I’ve used it for years bro. When I wash out the CARTON, clumps of white stuff come out the majority of CARTONS. It doesn’t bother me, but annoying as otherwise it’s mostly just water.

Try washing out your carton next time. See what’s left.

                • +1

@onlinepred: Yes I second this. Just give it a better shake before you use it, but I know what you're taking about. Nonethess It doesn't make it bad

    • +1

Not sure why you are getting negged. It's true.. but it's still the nicest soy milk
It does require an aggressive shake but it still has clumps at he bottom

  • Nooooo, out of stock

    • +1

      :( Hopefully they add more.

  • Stock is still available

    • Looks like they added more, nice.

  • back in stock but i can only add 6 to cart and if i do another subscribe and save it gives me an error!!!

Anyone know a way around s/s limit of 6?

    • +1

I think its one of those ones that max 6 per customer. I have read some stories about people having their amazon account banned setting up an additional accounts so be careful.

      • why would you setup additional accounts haha

you would need to pay for another amazon prime sub!

        • Free trial :)

  • Subscribe and save have defaulted to the normal price for me

Is it true that Soy products increases estrogen level? Will it gives big bigger moobs?

    • +6

Probably one of the biggest scam lies around!

All you have to do is look at japanese and asian men! How many asian men have you seen with man boobs?

Obese Americans will blame anything for their gluttony!

    • +1

People say eating chicken cause man boobs too. Do you believe?

    • Soy contains ‘phytoestrogen’, which doesn’t affect your mammalian estrogen levels.

If you are worried about your estrogen levels cows milk contains mammalian estrogen from the hormones of the female cow.

Look up ‘phytonutrients’, they are one of the reasons why whole-food plant-based diets are so healthy and anti-inflammatory for you, compared to animal products which promotes cancer and inflammation.

  • It’s back now.
Haven’t purchased since July 2024. Price hasn’t been this low in a while!
$21.99 at Costco for a case has been our go to

  • Price seems to be 3.53 even for s&s

    • Mine shows Promotion(s) applied dollar value equal to 10% off total price in the order summary.

      • Thank you for pointing that out. I had other promotional credit as well so had to reverse engineer the number and you're right, it does discount on that line item. Thank u!

  • Just had mine delivered, and TBH I can't tell how much better it is compare to Vitasoy Original and Calc Plus. In fact Calc Plus tase better straight up.

I do realise that it is quite creamy so I think it will foam quite well for making coffee, Vitasoy original is not bad for that too.

I just don't think it is worth the premium, just my two cent…..

  • I have to admit that this tastes far more better than the vitasoy…

  • +1

Costco has them for a very similar price - $3.60. Supermarkets use to be this price until COVID hit.
