Europe and Switzerland is more challenging and IMO more fun than the USA maps.
Thanks for the heads up! We have the usa version but find it not so challenging.
Both Europe and Switzerland have the concept of tunnels, which adds an element of chance even if you have enough cards to get the route. There's also a 21 pointer in north Russia which is as valuable as a long ticket but can be purchased stealthily. Hope you like it!
Excellent game, very worth this price.
Ones on ebay are fakes before anyone says cheaper there. But also they are basically indistinguishable from what I have heard.
Lucky this one is on Amazon then. Good heads up though.
Europes the best! Especially good with 3+ players and congestion around the western block! Also great adaptations with stations to still be able to save broken chains. Basically an update ironing out all the bugs of the first version
I've got this version and USA. The game is fairly low on the complexity scale, so it's a good family game for sure, first time players can join in with a quick explanation of the rules and have fun. The Europe version is more interesting, the map layout is a bit more varied compared to USA. Europe adds Tunnels, Ferries and Stations, these all add a little extra to the gameplay making it a little more stategic. The stations are great, because they can really save you if someone has locked you out from completing a route.
This game is pretty popular and I have had fun playing it with friends and family, it's quite well made and good value at this price IMO.
One of the classic gateway board games. My wife isn't really that keen on board games but she has enjoyed Ticket to Ride. While we haven't played this particular version, she has played Ticket to Ride on PC and a kids version of Ticket to Ride. I'm pretty sure she'll play and enjoy this once we get it to the table.
