Apparently pretty good open back, lightweight, budget headphones, though look like they'd be easy to break.

  Koss offer their lifetime warranty on these. I bought a pair of Porta Pros about 15 years ago and have had two replacements under the warranty in that time. It’s a pretty hassle free warranty. You do have to pay $15 for return postage, but I’ve received essentially a brand new pair of headphones each time.

    i got a pair of KPH40 where the plastic bits have snapped off… where do you contact for Aus warranty issues? i've googled and found some old posts with some old ozemail address.. is that the place you contacted? cheers

      That ozemail address for EDS used to be correct. But it looks like Koss has changed distributor in Australia to AVECorp. Their support page says to make warranty claims through the retailer:
