Great Jump Starter, especially for $99 delivered. Had mine for a few years (had 2 x GP2000's before that also),

hardly needed to use it lol. But holds great charge for a year + when unused, and love the fact I could charge it

super quick 100W if an emergency requires it for me or helping others.

Gooloo brand name could be good in title maybe OP ?

  • +4

I think this is an ATL?! Great find.

Now, do I bother creating an ebay account just for this…

    • +2

I paid $105 a few months back. Great unit.

  • +3

note, they wont provide tax invoice

  • +4

Jumpstarted my car with a bad battery more than 5 times on a single charge, and still has plenty of juice. The last time I had charged it was 2022, so hold a charge well as well.

    Great jumpstarter

    • +1

Which is the one with the air compressor? Sounds like a good option to have

    • +1

Used one to start a falcon with no battery in it, swear by these after that.

    • +1

Jumpstarted my car with a bad battery more than 5 times on a single charge

Well it says '60x Jump-Starts Per Charge' so I would hope so…

  • Which of the many many options in the eBay listing is this deal referring to?

    • +2

      GT3000 Red

      • +3

Champion thanks. I should have been able to figure it out from the 3000A mention in the title but I'm running a little slow today.

        • +3

          Arnt we all πŸ˜„

  • +2

When I found one with an air compressor add on, I gave this one away to a family member. I've found I use the air compressor more than the jump kit too.

    • +2

      Interesting… https://youtu.be/xJbUPHv-qjI?si=BvKgXYsoPJ8ASYIR

      I want this now πŸ˜„

Works out to be $86.63 with the 20% deal

      • Had a good look into the GOOLOO A3 Jump Starter with Air Compressor, 3000A Portable Car Battery Booster, the only thing missing is the 100 W if you need it to charge your mac etc

    • +1

I have a Gooloo without the air compressor - of course, I recently needed to pump up a tyre as opposed to jump starting my car…..added one with the compressor to my cart now! :)

      • +2

It's kinda obvious in hindsight, but an air compressor in a car is very useful. I've used it for my car tires of course, but also for sport balls and inflatable mattresses.

        • +1

Up til recently ive not had a flat/puncture for many many years, but I knew my battery was on the way out so kept it handy.
I havea Ryobi One+ compressor at home for tyres, basketballs etc :)

    • +1

How does the air inflator go with car tyres?

      • +1

From the YouTube video seems slower than my Ryobi compressor but still good for emergency use which would be my use case. For regular use I'd go with something a bit more dedicated/robust.

      • +1

It's fine. I wouldn't want to do more than one completely flat tire with it. I more use it to check and top up my tire pressure every now and then at home instead of going to the servo air pump.

  • +2

is it worth the extra $20 to get the GT3000 or just get the GP3000 for $80?

    • I am not sure ask around . I originally had the gt 3000.

    • +4

Yes, you get 100W fast charging and it holds a charge for up to 2 years.

      • +1

        ^^^This^^^

      • +2

you drive a hard ozbargain, got the gt and the case

  • +3

Have older models that work great. I've used them to help other people on the road more than I've ever needed them for myself tho πŸ’β€β™‚οΈ

  • +1

Can you leave these units in the boot 24/7 for 'just in case' scenario away from home? i'm just thinking if battery in the charger can survive in warmer months.

I had an issue recently were the auxiliaries were left on at the kids game which drained the battery.. had to get a friend to drive 30+min to jump start me - for $100, i'd be glad to avoid that situation again.

    • +1

I would be cautious leaving it in the cabin over the summer months, but I've found a good spot that stays cool year round is the wheel well sink in my boot.

      • +2

        Thanks for the input.
That was my thoughts (not safe in the warmer months)..
I'll check the spare wheel sink and see how much room i have in there..
My issue is kids/wife leaving things on.. they usually hang out in the car while the other is playing/training.. its just a matter of time before the battery wont have enough juice to kick start the motor again.

    • +1

Heat and vibration shorten the lifespan of lithium ion batteries so be advised that the lifespan will be shorter. I only put mine in the car when camping.

    • +1

Ive had mine inthe boot for about 3 years and it worked fine when I used it to jumpstart a big suv a few months back. I keep it under next to the spare tyre under the boot liner. The temperature there doesnt go above 35 celsius even in the hotest sun according to the thermometer I placed next to the jump starter.

      • Thanks for the input and advice… I have ordered one..

  • +1

Anyone know good deal for a A3?

  • +4

I have the red one I bought years ago.

I've jump started massive SUVs when people laughed at me because their massive jump starter couldn't get it to work.

Everyone asks me for this things brand name as they also doubt it and it never fails.

  • +1

    Grabbed one, thanks OP!

  • +1

Anyone happen to know if name-brand batteries are used in these jump starters? I know Gooloo reviews well I can't find any info on who manufactures the batteries for these.

    • +1

No idea, but my 2000A Gooloo i have had for at least 3-4 years now and its holding charge well. Mostly use for starting other people's cars lol

    • +1

Highly doubt it'd be a name you recognise like LG. Surely a random Chinese battery, hopefully of some quality considering the product is well reviewed

  • +4

GOOLOO A3 Jump Starter with Air Compressor 3000Amp

Going to see if i can find a cheaper link, though its all coming from the same company.

Not sure how good it would be for the battery with all the shaking with the tyre inflator + jump starter. Anyone that can add input would be great.

Best price with the 20% discount is $86.63 delivered.

    • +2

I've ordered one, but I won't be using it regularly as a compressor, I figure it'll be handy for emergency use if needed. For regular use I have a Ryobi One+ compressor for topping up tyres, basketballs etc.

    • +1

Amazing! Ordered this one. Feel like it'll be useful.

Biggest difference between this and the GT3000 seems to be the 100W charging.

Hopefully they didn't cut corners on the A3, hard to find reviews

      • Yeah. The only difference is the 100W supposedly. But the input will charge with usbc which is good. May come handy. Only one way to find out, wait and see πŸ˜„

How can I claim 20% off,?

      • Add JUNE20 code on checkout or use mobile app. "Apply voucher"

  • +1

Thanks for sharing, bought a Gt3000-red.

  • +2

Idk if the listing still offers it as isn't showing on my phone but..

if you add the case and Gt3000 separately it triggered the 'buy more and save 9%' when I bought few days ago

  • +1

So are these good to be stored in a car or does a car get too hot if sitting in the sun?

    • +2

Mine lives in the boot, so relatively temp stable. Been there for several years. I give it a top up charge every 3m or so. All seems to be working fine. I wouldn't keep it in the cabin though.

    • +1

Heat and vibration shorten the lifespan of lithium ion batteries so be advised that the lifespan will be shorter.

      • Hmm, so the tyre inflator a3 might not be a good idea?

        • I'm speaking strictly about hot weather and the car going over speed bumps, pot holes, dirt roads etc..
Haven't seen the design of these jump starters with a tyre inflator.

  • +1

Code still working? Says it can't be applied

    • +1

Just worked for me $99.19 final price at checkout

      • +1

Hmmm still getting that issue with the GT3000 red

    • Try on mobile. Make sure you enter the code on desktop. "JUNE20"

      • Tried desktop and mobile entering JUNE20 in the "Gift cards, vouchers, coupons" section without success (error message is get is "This code can't be applied to your order").

        Havent had this issue before

        • Did you work it out? I have the same issue…

          • @heymycall: Nah, just didn't buy it. Couldn't get it to work. Hopefully another deal will pop up

          • @heymycall: Heya, don't know if you're still in the market for this. I got the code to work by checking out as a guest. Probably something to do with my account but not sure why

  • +1

I've never been able to start a car with any other battery pack. Even the NRMA guys that turns up, their battery never works and they have to use jumper leads.

The GT4000S has worked for me on several different cars. Starts first attempt.

  • Bought a different Gooloo which has saved me quite a few times but the battery capacity when new was only at 80 percent. It's at 60 percent now but still manages to start my small sedan.

    • It says 60 starts for 10L gas engine so for smaller engine it should work fine from my guessing.

  • +1

    Best jump car starters

  • +1

    I got the 2 in 1.
gooloo a3 jump starter with air compressor

Serves for tyre inflating and jump starting. Think i paid 86 aud using 20 percent off on ebay. This was about 2 months ago.

  • +1

Previously read that these battery jump starters can fry newer cars where electronics contols everything.

What the best way to use these to avoid that?

    • +1

Have used it on cars from 1995 to 2024 with no issues to date.

    • I think i read it has mechanism to prevent this

  • +1

⚑ 60x Jump-Starts Per Charge – Powerful enough for 60 uses on a single charge

    I call bullshit on this.
Not even another car battery can do this.

    • Not sure thats what the ad said πŸ˜„

  • +1

I have a Century N70ZM MF marine battery to start my boat which requires 780 Cold Cranking Amps (CCA). Not sure how Peak Amps translates to CCA, would the GT3000 Red be enough to jump start my boat motor?

    • The the GT3000 listed here will cover you easily. The CCA you would need (780A) is well below the the peak output (3000A) of this jump starter.

      • Thanks ohgee but is peak output and CCA the same thing?

        • +1

No, not the same thing but to answer your question. CCA is what your cars starter needs to crank the engine in order to start it in the worst of conditions (-18Β°C). The peak output of this jump starter exceeds that number over 3 times so it's well within torrence and capable of jump starting your engine and many much bigger. You'd easily get by with a gooloo GP2000 but this offer for the GT3000 is much better value.

  • Major problem with these is S3 which means a max of 12.9v. when you crank, massive voltage drop and it doesn't turn the big diesel engines.

Is this one S3 LiPo OP?

    • This starts my high compression carby/distributor 355 stroker, and 1VD-FTV diesel with no issues when dead flat (starter not even clicking).

  • Meh. Just received an email from the seller saying the A3 with compressor is out of stock, apparently they haven't received stock at their warehouse yet, so have offered the GP3000 or a refund.

    • Yep, I received the same email, not very happy tbh, I'd prefer to wait and get what I ordered, but that wasn't listed as an option

      • I'm gonna ask if that's an option. Maybe if enough people ask. Or they realized their shipment isn't coming anytime soon πŸ₯Ί

  • Is there any difference between the GT3000 red v GT3000 yellow apart from the color?
