    Basic, but good

I bought this when it was posted alongside the kettle deal.

Make sure you run one cycle without bread on the max setting to burn off any factory residue.

    • Oh I didn't know about it
      Thanks!

      • +3

extremely important, otherwise you might die

likewise for the brand new kettles. Boil the water, fill up to the maximum level, and then empty the content before the first usage.

      • but just make sure you don't fill the water inside the toaster and then turn it on, you might die.

Looks like the deal is already gone

    OOS 🙄

  • Picked one up - arrtved yesterday Good quality
I agree ran 3-4 cycles without bread, then placed outdoors - to burn off factory residue - was quite stinky - also had to air kitchen out for an hour to remove residue stenc h from kitchen

    • Also got one a few days ago (wonder if Amazon will refund the price difference).

I didn't have any issues with factory residue. Ran the toaster twice and it stopped emitting any odour. I've used it for toast twice now as well with only that expected bread toasting smell coming off the toaster.

      • They're usually refund, worth asking for sure.
