You can potentially get this for $349 less trade in with the correct vouchers. Read below

Samsung tablet deals keep coming. This is a cracking price for the tab S9 which is very similar spec-wise to the S10. The targeted $50 EOFY voucher also applies, if you have one. Search for an email with subject "<name>, here's $50 to supercharge your EOFY" to bring the price down to $449 less trade in.
$100 vouchers from Samsung chat are also apparently available and work for this deal. So potentially $349 less trade in.

The Tab S9 has an 11" AMOLED screen, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and comes with an s-pen.

This price is for the 128/8GB wifi version. The 256/12GB wifi version is $699. The 128/8GB 5G version is $749. The 256/12GB 5G version is $949.

Remember that you need a trade in device to get the $300 trade in bonus. The final price (without additional vouchers) will be $499 minus the value of your trade in device.

For the record, the EDU store is only offering a $200 trade in bonus and is therefore more expensive.

    Anyone else having trouvle with the trade in section? I dont have a aus passport, so am limited to my drivers licence which i keep getting error codes on. Ive tried a million different ways and nothng works. Also tried my wifes passport and drivers licence which went straight through so im wondering if i have been blacklisted or something.

    Ive traded in before and not had any issues.

      it might be the expire date of your license. their auto system somehow detect it as Month/day. You need to change it back to day/month

    Get the 256GB model if you are planning to keep the device for at least a couple of years as its just not additional 4GB RAM and bump the storage to 256GB but only the 256GB model comes with UFS 4.0 storage compared to UFS 3.1 on the 128GB model. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 along with LPDDR5x RAM will just fly with the 256GB UFS 4.0 storage. This just throws the Lenovo IdeaPad Pro/Lenovo Xiaoxin Pad Pro 2025 out of water and for games/emulators much better than the S10 Tablet series with Mediatek Dimensity chipsets. Also the 256GB is in stock and likely going to be dispatched next day compared to backorder for the 128GB model. I gave it a good think and with Cashrewards 8% cashback (expired yesterday, now down to 5%) and 10% TRS/GST refund, the difference is about $150 to upgrade to the 12GB RAM/256GB storage model

      Nice analysis appreciate it .
      But after discount 128g model only cost around $349 , an additional $150 would be like 43% more. So depends if you would pay 43% more for the upgraded spec. If 128g is not a choice anymore, 256g at this price point with AMOLED etc is still a good buy.

      Me too. Though it was a spam call at first. Mine was to confirm delivery by 30th June which is early than july 23th. They asked if I wanted a voucher for white goods but they sent me another $100 voucher for another tablet if you ask.

            They called me twice, answered the second time, the next day.

            They were calling to advise of stock delays and delivery timing. Apologising as mine was now coming early July instead of about now.

            Long story short the next day they sent me 3 vouchers!

            1 is another $100 off mobiles starting with CRS (& requires trade in).
            The other 2 are basically 15% TV's, sound, home. And 15% off mobiles. Not sure if stacks.

            I also got another EOFY email today, different code, another $50…not sure why or if it's even related.

            Tldr answer the f*ing call next time! ;D

            I did also made a couple of complaints during the call, so it may have increased what they offered. Ymmv :)

      They've called me a couple of times this year to try and encourage me to trade in my S24U for a S25U, but I have no interest. The two devices are so similar, and I like my bluetooth s-pen. I'll think about it next year when the S26 is announced.

      Previously you could setup a stock alert, but now it's just listed as "coming soon" and there's no stock alert option. That leads me to believe that there may not be any more stock available. I would assume that the S9 series is no longer in production, so there may not be any more.

          Just go on chat, say you are wanting to buy a s9 or s10 tablet and would like a voucher if possible. I usually mention i have numerous samsung products listed on my samsung as proof, but im not sure if thats necessary. Voucher is nromally 100 bucks but restricted to the products.

    Does the good ol' method of not sending the trade-in device still just result in a $60 fee +plus trade value? I don't have anything I actually want to trade and the trade values are so low that it's not worth the effort of hunting down a cheap watch to trade

      If the trade in you selected is more than I think $100, then it's $60 no return but if it's less, then it should be $30 no return fee

      If you read the T&Cs then you could just send in the wrong item for trade in. Their T&Cs state that if you do that, then they'll contact you and arrange for your item to be shipped back to you. No mention of a late fee or no send being incurred for this.

      Whether they would hit you with the fee, that's another question

        It seems to me that you would still get the trade in bonus of $200-300 depends on your voucher, but not the trade in value(if you didn’t trade in at last ) If not then., as you said, no difference.

        I am not sure, correct me if anything wrong.

      I had the 2022 and last week it died. Cant be charged. Not pulling and watts from charger. I opened it up to see if i could fix it but not sure what could be issue.

      I have a tab s7 and thats still going well. So now i got the tab s9 to replace pad pro.

      Depends on the use case. Having Snapdragon with the Samsung S9 is better for emulation as the drivers are better supported, but having a larger display with the Lenovo is better if you are mainly using it for watching movies/TV.

      If you've got a Samsung phone, you may benefit from the ecosystem features too.

        There's always confusion about whether they will slap you back with the trade-in bonus or just the value + 30 to 60 dollar fee. I don't think that's ever happened but they do constantly update the trade-in T&C. I skimmed over it but I'm not very good with legalese

          No one, in the history of time, has ever lost the trade in bonus. Yes, you can get charged the fee when you probably shouldn't have been, but the trade in bonus always covers it many times over.

              @ilove: Read through any comments thread from a Samsung trade in deal over the last 5 years. No one has ever been charged back the trade in bonus.
