Back in stock!

You can potentially get this for $349 less trade in with the correct vouchers. Read below

Samsung tablet deals keep coming. This is a cracking price for the tab S9 which is very similar spec-wise to the S10. The targeted $50 EOFY voucher also applies, if you have one. Search for an email with subject "<name>, here's $50 to supercharge your EOFY" to bring the price down to $449 less trade in.
$100 vouchers from Samsung chat are also apparently available and work for this deal. So potentially $349 less trade in.

The Tab S9 has an 11" AMOLED screen, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and comes with an s-pen.

This price is for the 128/8GB wifi version. The 256/12GB wifi version is $699. The 128/8GB 5G version is $749. The 256/12GB 5G version is $949.

Remember that you need a trade in device to get the $300 trade in bonus. The final price (without additional vouchers) will be $499 minus the value of your trade in device.

For the record, the EDU store is only offering a $200 trade in bonus and is therefore more expensive.

Enjoy. I bought a S10FE a few weeks ago, but now I'm wishing I'd waited… Oh well…

You'll be spewin if you bought the recent Optus Tab S9FE deal.

  • When should we expect to get the trade instructions after receiving item? Is it via email or text?

    • Email. You generally get the comms on the day your new device arrives.

  • Has anyone received their item already but Samsung delivery status still shows awaiting delivery and have yet to receive trade instructions?

  • Thanks OP. This is officially the nicest tablet I have ever used, at a very affordable price. Thanks for the deal. Trading in my s9+ phone, nice to have it gone. @wombat81

    • You're welcome, dude. Enjoy.

  • Curious for anyone who did a $1 trade in with a cheap item did asurion get in contact? Or did they keep it?

    • I traded in a pair of headphones instead of a watch. Only email correspondance i got was confirmation they received my item.

      • Yep same here lol. Look like they've kept my botched earphones. I was hoping for them back 😂

      • Are you able to see the status of your device return here - https://samsungtradeup.asurion.com.au/ - if there's any indication of "completed"

    • Did you guys pack the item yourselves or bring it to Au Post?

      • +1

Just walked in to the post office with a very naked S9+ phone, and the required email. They do the rest, they provide all the packaging and the box and labels etc. Very easy process. I had a genuine Samsung smart cover on my old phone and she suggested I take it off as sometimes it can be rejected if there are any extras included in the package. All went well for my trade-in, and the tablet is great!

    • I traded in a Note 9 and Asurion are now claiming it has a broken screen (definitely didnt when it was posted) and only worth $1. Seems to be a common issue. What a joke.
Luckily I took photos/video before it was posted.

      • Yep. They are really dodgy. That's why this time i sent them old headphones instead of a watch.
