    It's back!

I remember lamenting during the Wuhan Virus that I should have bought a few of these in 2017.

  • -2

    Wooooohooooo!!!

  • +4

Bought some of this years ago - still going strong.

    My favourite uses are:
    - cleaning pc components (thermal paste ect, but don’t use it on clear acrylics)
    - cleaning airbrush
    - cleaning sticky residue from stickers
    - sanitising stuff, but it’s pretty strong so don’t use a lot and can damage some materials.

Used to use it for cleaning resin prints too - but I recently swapped to methylated spirits and it’s much better in terms of odour/headaches.

  • Really good stuff to have around. Does so much depending on the dilution ratio.

    • +1

Agreed. I have a few 100ml mister spray bottles that I keep around @80% dilution rate which is ideal ratio for disinfecting surfaces, or general cuts, scratches etc. Mixing Weight= 20ml water (20g), 80ml Isopropyl (62.8g).

Yeah there's an option for Courier's Please 5kg $9.46 to me in QLD; is that not widely available or is there a reason people are avoiding Courier's Please? TY

Removes oils and residue left behind after compound and polish phase. Very important step before applying ceramic coat or ppf.

$5 a litre? What a rip! Why would I pay that when I could buy it by the barrel? 🤣

    • +1

3.50 a liter. Not really a great discount considering you have to buy the equivalent of 40 5 liter units to get this price. Unless of course you use huge amounts of it…..

Not sure what's up with shipping.
My Gold Coast suburb; 4220 - Burleigh/Miami doesn't have the Couriers Please option, so $29 :(
Yet it's available for every suburb around me.
Odd, as we send and receive with Couriers Please almost daily

This stuff is really useful in makeup spray bottles from Daiso. Just make sure you dilute it to a mixture of 70% isopropyl and 30% water.

The deal is soured when the shipping costs more than the product itself.

    • $9.45 to elwood melbourne with courier, select the cheaper option .

  • Youll need to dilute it to 65-70% if you want to make your own alcohol handwash.

The description says that item is 250mL

    • +3

$100 a litre? Would be $500 for the equivalent of this deal 😅

  • They sent mine with Sendle (bought it from the eBay link posted here). Not sure if CouriersPlease might have been the better option as I am not home when they try to deliver in the afternoons. AusPost wins in these situations as they take the deliveries to their nearest post office or parcel locker.

    • +1

With this kind of package (eg more than 1kg and bulky) , Auspost not even bother delivery. They’ll just drop a paper in your mailbox to tell you come and pickup at their post office.

      • For me AusPost works perfectly as I do afternoon shifts and not at home when they usually deliver (my local AusPost office is very close to my place). Not sure what this company will do if I am not home when they attempt delivery.

  • +1

Me walking into the post late.. looking for a good deal for cleaning my electronics and such…. suddenly its scamdemic and covid and BS….. ok cool good luck with that.

    • +1

Absolutely! Looked into comments for insight, maybe some suggestions about postage costs or a cheap alternative, instead I have to wade through all that pointless arguing. Come together for the bargains people!!!

  • Placed my order on the 9th and had it delivered today to Sydney metro using the budget CouriersPlease option for ~$9. Chuffed!

  • I use it as a cutting fluid for CNC cutting of Aluminium and it works brilliantly with the main advantage that it leaves no residue. Currently manually spraying with a spray bottle but ideally sprayed via a fogbuster type system. You only need a minimal amount. Yes I know it is flamable.

  • -1

    did anyone order this.

    • +1

Yep. From order to delivery to Cessnock area (I live there, I'm not from there :) ) in 18 hours.

    • Used it today for cleaning!

  • I ordered this Thursday night, it was dispatched Friday morning, it arrived via couriers please late today (Monday).

Bunnings discontinued the diggers size i used to purchase and now only sell the 125ml pump pack/spray for $10. 5L is overkill but I always spray a cloth and wipe down my printer bed each time.

  • Lets go on a bender! WAIT…

ah to get 100% they use chemicals. Oh well, lets go on bender!

  • +1

Damn, surprised with the random extra freebie - the one time where waiting it out makes the deal get better instead of making it expire lol

  • Using the code gives "This Special Discount cannot be used in conjunction with other offers."
Can't remove the free spray from cart, which I don't even want.

    • I had a look and found that the freebie spray can be removed by clicking the blue cross in the 'Discounts Applied' section.
I've edited the post, thank you.
