Agree. Good deal but Makita used to be reasonably priced, however If all my Makita stuff was stolen, there is no way I would replace it. It's just so expensive now.
It's all insured, but given the option, I would just take the payout and replace it with Ryobi/Ozito now that I am no longer on the tools for an income. My tool snobbery is long gone these days:)
It is a big difference compared to the lower tier models. I have an older DTD171Z, and went through all the different tiers before finally buying the top tier.
