You can debate the worthiness of this card till the end of days……
but for me, I wanted a new card around $400.
I would have accepted an RX, RTX or B580.
Going on price alone, this one snuck under my $400 ceiling, and by a decent amount.

I'm surprised they aren't clearing out the Intel ARC B580 cards. Guess Intel doesn't have the budget to give their resellers a rebate to clear inventory.

spend a little more and get a 2ndhand rtx 3070 (for around $500)
Pretty hard disagree on that. A 3070 is 15% faster, or so, a generation older, and second hand - both risk and effort to get one.
This for $380 was a fantastic option for low end AAA games at 1080p (and older games at 1440p0.
hmm.. a sound argument - 15% is about correct.
but personally, I'd still go the 3070, maybe for $450

Addendum, "people like 8gb cards at sub $400". In the same way people would probably like a 4gb card at sub $100.
This card was (obviously) good at the price - even compared to AMD, this was worth it.
