Well yes, all the power items are in one block, but it actually takes less space than separate battery box and motors. And in this scale you don't get the gearboxes etc. anyway, they are reserved for the bigger scale models. Which also are not powered. So it's whether you want an RC toy like this, which is bound to be a bit simpler or you want a more precise model. I'd say this one is more for the younger audience, compared to the 1:8 scale supercars.

Good price, but be aware if you like building gear boxes and differentials etc, this is not the build for you.
Now comes with a large single integrated block housing the motors, lights, battery etc :\
Read a review first so you understand it is a different build experience.
