Please be aware that some reassembly will be required after you use it.

  • I thought xseed suddenly release some chain saw game lol.

    • No good for zombies, unless you have a long extension cord, what you want is a stabbing implement or my own personal favourite, the gas cylinder from the guy in "No Country For Old Men", even if you have to refill the gas every so often and have to get up close to use it..

Guys… come on… a chainsaw for Zombies? You must know that they are attracted to noise so a chainsaw as a melee weapon is like a giant neon sign. Go for the Gerber gear for when the dead walk the Earth :)

  • Should be useful when the zombies get here..

i have been using this around my suburban home for the last 6 mths and i can't complain. Works every time, good clean cuts & easy to clean after each use. Recently used it to cut down 6 palm trees that were 5 metres tall. This saw chewed them all up in about 90 mins. i had to do lots of cuts to be able to get them into easy to handle chunks. If you don't expect too much & go easy it is a nifty little alternative to the nasty bush saw!

      • What's the warranty on it, couldn't find it on site?

      • How does it go with hard wood.

or would i be better saving up for a petrol one

    • only if a power point is near by :)

Do they come in a left-handed version?

PLEASE if you're planning on using one of these, make sure you have the appropriate safety gear.

      Crocs or thongs?

    • what gear? Gloves are a bad idea, as they won't stop a chain, and make it more likely to slip.
Safety glasses and earmuffs - sure, same as any powertool.

I can't see too many people wearing chaps and safety boots with this little saw.

I'd say that much more important than safety gear is READ THE INSTRUCTIONS! REAlly - even if you never normally do.
People can easily do really stupid (in hindsight) things with a chainsaw. e.g. NEVER attempt to operate one-handed.

I fear we live in such a nanny state, where every tool comes with three pages of safety instructions that people just get into the habbit of ignoring them. Which is really bad when you get a chainsaw.

  • Thanks OP, will come in handy.

  • Cutting my neighbour's tree for 40.00?? Sounds good!

  • Dear Sir,

Please put one aside for me, I will come and collect it later.

Have to go, need to return some video tapes.

    Regards,

    Patrick

  • I went to Harrisdale Masters In WA and they had 6 on the shelf and 1 on display and the same looking thing but under another name that was $70

The Chain on its own was $40, just for a chain lol!!!

I picked up 2 for myself (got a big tree to chop down) and one for my parents, I got my Aussie safety boots ready :p na might wear some boots hehe.
I thought it was gonna be one of those piddly little chainsaws for the price but no its quite large/heavy.

  • It was an end of line item and they sold out but gave me a more expensive replacement for the same money. With such policies unquestionably applied I am more inclined to buy there again.

    • They refused to give me a replacement model even though I had already paid online. the only thing they offered was refund. Actually the refund went through the next but they hadn't refunded the delivery fee. Now chasing it up :/
