Xceed 900W Rotary Hammer Drill $30 @ Masters + Heavy Discounts on Other Xceed Tools

110

Looking for a rotary hammer to remove the bathroom tiles and found this on Masters website. Used my $20 gift card from this and paid only $10 at the end. The staff said they are clearing them out for new stock. Only in-stock in some stores so check it online and use "Click Then Collect" before heading to the store to avoid disappointment.
I think Bunnings is selling a similar one (Ozito 850W) for $69 but I can't find it on their website.

EDIT: Thanks to Pandabargain Looks like lots of Xceed tools are discounted

Xceed 650W Hammer Drill EX65ID $25

I assume this is the kind of thing that will break if you Xceed a single use… Cheaper than rental though ;)

Probably wont last that long, but it has a 12 month warranty so hang on to the receipt and can just keep swapping it for a new one when it breaks.

    • One of my mates has a GMC version (from back when GMC were being sold at Bunnings)
He's used his a number of times (He's self-built 2 extensions to his house) and as far as I'm aware it's still going strong.
There's not all that much to these devices that can go wrong, the motor and gearbox are the points of failure.

    • +1

they use SDS Plus drill bits

  • We have something like the one shown and it is better built than quite a few out there. It is very heavy and feeels like it is built to last. @$30 or $10, it is a bargain.

  • These drills are better than one would expect. Might get one from Knox tomorrow.

  • nothing at northland or oakleigh.
not even the exceed brand could be found.

closet thing i could find was an empty hook where it said "Exceed hammer drill"
so even the display model was gone

  • Must be getting phased out. I had some contribution to the launch of this brand a few years ago.. Lasted longer than I thought…

  • Masters please open a store near me.

    • Not sure if they will read your message. Where do you live? I can find out how close one will be though.

      • Lindfield 2070 NSW
Closest store is Chullora, but difficult drive to get to.
Really something on the north side of the harbour would be good.
