Terms and Conditions

Cards are offered, issued and administered by American Express Australia Limited ABN 92 108 952 085. Subject to Terms and Conditions, all information are correct as at 12th February 2025 and are subject to change.

1. Additional Card Members. Additional Card Members must be 16 years of age or over. The Primary Card Member will be liable to pay for all transactions made by Additional Card Members. Earning of points is subject to the terms and conditions of the Rewards Program the Primary Card Member is actively enrolled. The Primary Card Member cannot add an Additional Card under their own name or email address and cannot add an Additional card under the name or email address of a previously approved Additional Card application on the Account. You must be a member of the Qantas Frequent Flyer program to earn and redeem Qantas Points. A joining fee may apply. Membership and Qantas Points are subject to the terms and conditions of the Qantas Frequent Flyer program. Qantas Points and bonus Qantas Points are earned in accordance with and subject to the Qantas American Express Cards Points Terms and Conditions, and exclusions apply.
2. The Primary Card Member named above will receive 7,500 bonus Qantas Points when they apply and are approved for an Additional Card by clicking on the link in this email by 30 June 2025. This offer is limited to the first approved Additional Card added. 7,500 bonus Qantas Points will be awarded to the Primary Card Member's Account 8-10 weeks after the Additional Card is approved. This advertised offer is not applicable or valid in conjunction with any other advertised or promotional offer. This offer is only available to eligible Card Members who have received a direct invitation from American Express.
   The Primary Card Member cannot add an Additional Card under their own name or email address. They also cannot add an Additional Card under the name or email address of a previously approved Additional Card application on the Account. The Primary Card Member may apply for several Additional Cards across different products, but will only receive the 7,500 bonus Qantas Points for the first approved Card. Any misuse, as reasonably determined by us, relating to your Additional Card application may result in Bonus Offers being reversed, and ineligibility from future and other promotions. Card Members with more than one Card product will only receive the eligible bonus on their first added Additional Card during campaign period, not once per product.
3. Fraud Protection Guarantee. Provided that you do not contribute to or unreasonably delay reporting any misuse of your Account and you have complied with your Card Conditions, you will not be held liable for any unauthorised charges.
4. Card Purchase Cover: The insurance on American Express Cards is subject to terms, conditions and exclusions (such as maximum age limits, pre-existing medical conditions and cover limits). You must use your American Express Card to pay for eligible items for those items to be covered under the retail insurance benefits. It is important you read your American Express Card Insurance Terms and Conditions and consider whether the insurance is right for you.
