wtf sort of cash back is this?

    • Boost Your Super pays cashback directly to your super account where it can grow.

      • Why though? I can transfer monies I receive from other cashback sites to my super if I want to.

        • ok.. trying to think this through… but… you book a hotel for work, cashback to your super and invoice your employer.. that way employer pays more super on your behalf for free?

          • @senectus: but same applies to other cashback sites also, right? that way you get the money in your own account

          • @senectus: Super is only paid on base salary though, not reimbursement or distribution of petty cash etc, isn't it? Also isn't it more likely you'd use a company issued credit card or corporate travel agency to manage this sort of thing?

        • Our service is for people who want to get the funds directly into their super so it can be invested. By using our service there is no risk the funds are diverted to other uses when they reach your account.

Probably better to use a ~10% discount code (i.e. an instant discount at checkout) on Expedia or one of the many Expedia-group websites. (Example is MASTERAU8 which gives 8% off if you pay with Mastercard or VISAYRO if you pay with Visa. There are plenty of other codes out there.)

Wowee, that's a lot of munted hands in the AI images on their site.

  • good idea but not a good deal to me. If you really want to put money into your super, you can basically put aftertax money to the super then claim tax refund.

Financial advisors often recommend automatic payments to superannuation. This approach helps to ensure distractions don't stop payments from being made into your super investment. We offer our service partly because we know from our users that earning cashback is one thing, but to get it into your super fund takes more effort unless it is automated with a service like ours.

I'm sure that when they say automatic payments they're talking about setting up either a pre or post tax amount to go in automatically each pay, not for some unknown company to deposit 6¢ from a cashback deal ~3 months ago…

Raises some issues for me, like what would the payments be taxed at? How do you use my super info, etc…

Mandatory this isn't financial advice statement 😅

  • We make payments to super as non-concessional after tax payments. Our service is not for everyone, but you can get an idea if it can be beneficial to you by trying our super calculator.
