This is about $200 more than I need to spend on a set of watchmakers screwdrivers, but it is a crazy good deal. These are the best of the best. Please note that you probably don't need these, but if you do, then this deal would be tough to pass up. Sold by DailySeller AU and Fulfilled by Amazon. Bergeon screwdrivers are built to high specifications and top standards and all blades are tempered and finely ground to exact specifications.       It is a good deal if you are a horologist. This is THE brand for them. The problem is their may not to be too many around on Ozb but that is no cause to neg a deal which it is ..not for you or me but maybe for someone who actually is a horologist..plenty of watch enthusiasts around.

        I respect the quality of the screwdrivers and have several nice watches.

        My issue is one you use your ABN for an account and buy something, you can't get this "deal".
        A one time welcome offer isn't a deal.

        Are we going to literally post every Amazon item on here because you could use your one time voucher on it.

          A one time voucher is the exact definition of a deal mate..I reckon what you are trying to say is apply that to any article and present it as a deal is not really a deal when it is known that the voucher exists.. Everyone may know the deal exists but OP found an article that the deal may be applied to and shared it which no one else has bothered to find..why begrudge him/her/whatever for it ? I have registered but I do not need anything so cannot be bothered looking but if someone takes the effort finds something that I do not need now but maybe I will need at some point ..I'll give them a thumbs up and if they find something I do not need but someone else needs still a thumbs up ..never a neg

      Please let us know if you find one for a better price. The price with the coupon is the lowest price available for the item. It's the definition of a deal. Many items are posted here with one time use coupons, this isn't any different. If you don't want to see these deals, there's a way to opt out as described at the bottom of my post and others.

    This or a set off Aliexpress?

    I've been modding watches/seiko mods for maybe about 6 months.
    I've only used a cheap ali set so far, is it worth that much to invest into something like this for 200?
    Or am I just paying for Bergeon brand name.

      I'd say if your a hobbyist this is still too much to spend for what it is and how often you'd use it, if you were a professional fixing watches everyday you'd be able to write the cost off anyway so then of course buy the best.

      No aliexpress…etc is even close to a Bergeon but do you need one? Honestly if you're just a modder here and there the Aliexpress will serve you decently, if you are serious and it's more closer to a side hustle then consider the Bergeon.

      Main difference is the tolerances and the metal used.

      You can test the waters buy getting a bergeon 6767 or a 7767 (30-35$ from memory) which is practically a must have anyways and compare to another spring bar tool you currently have. You can feel that difference immediately and that difference is similar to the screwdrivers.

      FWIW I went with these and they're fine. They came without the spare tips so Amazon refunded them and didn't ask for a return, so they were the best price, free!
