Is it possible to use any of the docks without the dust bags? Either auto empty into the bin directly, or just not auto empty. Want to upgrade from the S5 Max, but don't want to be stuck buying bags for it. Alternatively, are there any robot vacuums that don't require bags in the dock?

  Not sure if this helps, but I've been emptying the bag in the dock for the Dreame Mova S10 - Just physically remove the bag from the dock, pull out as much compacted dust and dirt as possible, and then put the bag back in the dock.
  
  Seems to work, and saves me spending heaps on these bags. Other manufacturers might have ways to stop you reusing bags, not sure about Roborock, but it's something to explore.

  the last vacuum robot that I know of that doesn't use dust bag is Eufy x9 pro, but I don't think you can buy them anymore.
  This model as you would have expected does not auto empty and needs to be empty manually.

  From what I've read, the bags last 2 or 3 months before full and you can get them for $1 each on Ali Express.
