The novelty of these winter brands (The North Face, Patagonia, HH) is dying. Hedge fund bros are also no longer buying them as attire for 9-5 office jobs.
Stick to actual good quality, not brands.
I have a HH ski jacket and it coped with wet conditions better than others in my group. Csnt comment about these jackdts though as i do not have one. From a fit side, HH fits me better than most others.
Performance wear should not be in the same category as lifestyle items.
So what's actual good quality?
If you want good quality, spend the money. If you want value, get a Macpac down jacket for the same price.
It's a jacket. Keeps you warm. It's reasonably priced.
