Dreame L30 Ultra S Robot Vacuum and Mop $973 + Delivery ($0 C&C/In-Store) @ Harvey Norman

110

Started looking at robot vacuums after seeing this deal of the L10 S Ultra for $648 - I was not eligible for the the prime business discouint so was going to be $748. Further research I came across the L30 Ultra S. Its on sale at all the majors for just under $1k, but harvey norman have the lowest price at $973.

This model has the extendable mop feature, mop washing (cold water) and hot air drying. The clean and empty water are also much larger than the L10S almost double the size. Its got 13000Pa suction and its also got all the updated AI obstacle avoidance features of the newer 2024 models. I thought this was worth the extra $220 above the L10 S and overall a pretty reasonable price for all the features that we were looking for. A good price point well below the L40 Ultra S at $1500!

  • Is Dreame any good compared to Roborock?

    • I've used ecovacs, dreame and roborock over the years. All pretty much the same, they try to one-up eachother each year but for this price you can't go wrong imo.

The L10s Ultra is back on Amazon for $749 ($649 with Amazon business coupon), or L40 Ultra is $1198 ($1098 with Amazon business coupon). Not liking the reviews on Dreame products in general though.

  • How is the after sales support and warranty for this ?

    • +2

I've never gone through the official retailer for warranty but if you run the robot vacuum everyday it eventually fails (I've had motor burnout, dead battery or moving parts like wheels etc) so when buying a robot under $1000 from JB-HI-FI and getting the extended care, you'll get an on the spot replacement. I've been doing it for years and every 1.5-2 years I get a free upgrade to whatever the latest model is. Over $1000 they send it away for repair but it's generally worth it if you spend $2000+ because they always fail. The only time I did that was with a Roborock Q Revo and the battery died after a year but it was annoying to send away and wait for a month. You're better off getting something under 1k and getting a free replacement each time.

  • It’s also $974 at JB Hi-Fi. On Dreame website it’s $999 and can get $50 voucher when sign up for email newsletter

  • I bought this for $789 today with Woolworths Everyday Market $200 cashback from Topcashback

    • I couldnt find anything that can get a $200 cashback from topcashback. Can you share more?

  • How does this compare to the Roborock Qrevo S in this deal? https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/911142
There doesn't seem to be much info on the L30s online, is it an Australia only model or something?

  • I bought this model yesterday for $964 at JB Hifi ….. took it for a spin yesterday, it’s bloody fabulous!

  • Now comes with $150 gift card at Harvey Norman!

    • Where do you see that?

      • No longer unfortunately. Was running for EOFY from 27th June till 30th!

  • I got this and it's excellent, but you tricked me this isn't a hot water model.

Also it doesn't seem to support camera view via the app

    • I tricked myself as well unfortunately. I was working off a spreadsheet of various models on reddit that was either wrong or had an overseas model.

      I’ve updated the post now.
