6000W seems an awful lot. Are there any online reviews or teardowns of this item? Thanks

    • More like 3000w continuous and 6000w surge, good enough to boil the kettle.

      • It looks tiny from the photo, more like the size of a 1000w inverter.

      • It is indeed 3000w continuous when you go to the site the specs are there.

        Rated power
        3000W

        Peak Power
        6000W

        • The fuses say no: 4 x 40 x 12 = 1920W. Even that's in an ideal condition so expect it to be way less.

    Sine Wave Power Inverter

I prefer a Cosine Wave Inverter, but it doesn't phase me…

Not to go off on a tangent, but that's the least hyperbolic pun you've made in a while

      • That's a nice angle

  • If an insurance claim from fire is what you’re chasing, this could be an easy way.
    It'll banggood

  • Been a while since I've looked at pure sine wave inverters, but this seems suspiciously too cheap for too much power.

  • 6000w woo

When you click the link, it shows the 4000w

Doesn't make sense…. 4x40A 12V fuses means max power draw of ~2000W in perfect conditions.

    • 2000w peak…

  • +2

This is definitely miss-leading at best, if not outright deceptive. 6000w (says continuous) but it’s peek and 3000w rated.

Even then, that 250Amps for 12v and 500Amps for peak… I feel sorry for the battery, you are definitely going to need to make sure you have some amazing 12v Lithium batteries for that.

  • It will go bang, very good!!

  • Misleading, not a 6000w inverter at all.

    And enjoy your spontaneous bonfire.

  • Store name checks out…
