It isn't. Some people have some warped ideas on what classifies as a bargain though, so we get posts like this.
As OP says, the game never goes on sale - I only know as I've had it on my wishlist since launch and haven't seen it go on sale to my knowledge! Or if it did, it would have matched this one.
Hoping that the physical copy goes on a decent sale somewhere one day so that I can play and then trade in later.
Will wait for physical disc version to come down in price. $80 for a digital purchase isn't good enough.
Glad I got a physical copy at big w $109 with 10% off before it ended. 🙂

It's not. English/Mandarin both available. I even bought it with a dummy HK account then share with my mate. Works fine.
I bought this on release. Excellent game which I've played through twice. I get $80 may not be a bargain for some but it is the cheapest it's ever been.
It's a 12month old game. It shouldn't be fetching close to a new release pricing.
Dark Souls 3 is x years old and its still selling for $99.95!

It's up to the publisher Game Science (who also developed it), and they have not elected to discount the game at all. It's quite unconventional, but they're well within their rights to do what they want to with the pricing.

Completely disagree . Sub $50 and it becomes acceptable.
Clair Obscur launched full price at $70 aud and preorder price of $63 on psn. In every way shape and form that game was superior to this.
If they can sell it for $70 so can every other game.
This game is overpriced.They are 2 different genres so it is impossible to say which one is more superior than which one.
However, I do agree Clair Obscur is also worth its full price

It’s worth waiting for a steeper discount if you’re not in a hurry to play this. The steeper/ better discount will happen.
