Not sure why downvote, he's not wrong. Unfortunately this is the way of living many people have been forced into; less and less people can afford quality appliances that last longer.

My old kmart airfryer is one of the best things i ever bought and it's already 3 years old Please stop crying like we're starving in Africa.

I purchased my sandwich press from Target 10 years ago for $35 and it still works…

You have to understand what you are buying and what you need it for.

There are plenty of more expensive products that are no better then kmart products.

      • my $59 3.2L kmart airfryer is used every few days for the past 4 years, still works fine

I bought the 25L air fryer/over 3 years ago (free delivery) it's still going strong. Used at least once a day.

This particular unit is a generic that's badged by a lot of high profile companies including Instapot and Westinghouse

As usual, the real juicy bits are in the comments. Interesting to know, thanks

    • I’ve got a Kmart blender that is about 9 years old and gets used few times a week. The only issue is that the little rubber feet on it keep coming off

    • i own one of these never had an issue.

Bought Kmart rice Cooker for 10$ 😂 Going strong after 2 to 3 years now

    • Have you used it yet?

I use it to boil eggs, steam veges (corn etc), boil rice, boil sweet potato lol

I must tell you, it's not perfect for rice, you have to monitor to avoid over cooking but it does a damn good job.

The coating on the bowl is also very good, it's still intact, no sign of wear.

        • I use it to boil eggs

          You don't own a saucepan?

          • @jv: It was not the best idea, it over boiled them, meaning some parts were brown. I think with proper timing, you can get boiled eggs as well.

That said, I am going to invest in an AI powered rice cooker. The only problem is, I wait for this 10$ one to die first lol

  • An 1800W Anko 12L Air Fryer sounds impressive !!!

At what size does it stop being an air fryer and is just an oven?

    • Hard to tell, everything is small now, look at all the kitchen appliances in kmart, like mini oven, single slice toaster, mini pancake maker, etc.

My kmart 45L benchtop oven died last month. Impossible to buy it again from kmart or others, at that size and for cheap. Investigated air friers and none of them would be able to fit the accessories we use for cooking and baking in that oven, so i ended up repairing the oven.

      • repair’s the ideal. what was the problem?
