Looks to be $4 cheaper than the deal in April and going off reviews looks to be a decent tablet for the price.

    Yes, even the newer G100 is basically a rebadge. These tablets are not future proof.

    I guess it all comes down to how much people are willing to pay vs manufacturing costs. The average person buying this would not have any idea about what processor it runs and just wants a tablet for youtube, emails and FB etc.

  Grabbed this from AliExpress in April - has been great for our fridge mounted Home Assistant hub, various home control apps, YouTube for the kids, etc. Good battery life, snappy enough, good display.
