Air fryer virgin here. Finally, giving in and going to buy one. Most people were raving about the $99 Vortex that was on Amazon as well, unfortunately I hesitated for too long and it's gone back up to $119.
I was thinking of going for the Philips Air Fryer 2000 Series 6.2L. How does this compare?
I guess the most important thing is easy cleaning.
Perhaps consider the glass airfryers with the stainless steel basket, which I believe you can throw in the dishwasher.

I don't think the non stick stuff is any good because it eventually degrades.
If you do go non stick, you can get silicon inserts (flat trays with holes punched throughout), but that just means another thing to clean.

I had the Philips one, but it stopped working around the 14-month mark.
I'm now looking to buy a Ninja air fryer as a replacement.
