You've done it in the wrong order! Should go worm, then spider, then bird etc!

They'd certainly make me a little peckish.

Crazy expensive way to feed a chicken.

    • +1

ok JV you beat me to it.

so yeah ignoring the fact it's "pet premium" meal worms.

$8 for 220grams of dry worms?? I thought it would be 1kg and still would be pricey.

also for anyone thinking these are some italian grown farmed premium high quality dry worms I don't think so. pick any brand dry worms they probably all come from the same source.

  • Can I feed these to my cats?

    • +1

Use it to attract birds for the cats. /s

      • +1

and then use the cats for your dogs.

  • My chicken's didn't eat any meal worms when i bought some for them to try, the only food they'll go clucking for is sweet corn and nothing else and at $4.19 a kg at aldi and woolies it's cheaper than the mealworms

  • I bought this a few years back to try and befriend some magpies but they didn't touch it. Only wanted fresh ones. They do however love sunflower seeds.

Chicken, my chickens became like the hulk when I gave them meal worms from the compost.

Very easy to do, nick your neighbours wheelie bin, start a compost bin :P

FWIW - I purchase my mealworms and/or black soldier fly larvae from Chubby Mealworms. Heaps cheaper, especially if you buy in bulk. My local magpies, currawongs and butcherbirds love them.

Beat me to it! I get mine in bulk from them too. Usually wait for one of their special deals. My chooks absolutely mob me for these

    My chickens love them too.
Just started a mealworm farm, as the price per kilo hurts my oz bargain soul. Super easy to look after: Fruit/veg scraps every 2-4 days for their water, and a bed of oats for their food.
