As far as I know it’s equivalent to the MILWAUKEE 12V PIVOTING AREA LIGHT SKIN M12PAL-0 which retails for $159. Milwaukee seem to intentionally make it hard to go between US products and European/australian sku. I own a PAL and I am really pleased with its light quality and the usefulness of the magnet/the strength. Two light levels also is a really nice touch. 250 lumens is a good light level too if you don’t need 100%.

700 Lumens of TRUEVIEW™ High Definition Output
120° Pivoting Light Head
Up to 24 Hours of Runtime with 4.0XC Battery
Magnetic Mounting
2.1Amp USB Output
Integrated Keyhole for Hanging Overhead
IP54: Dust and Water Resistance

$74.10 sold out 3:40pm. $70.86 re-stocked at 4:30pm.

Nice find OP! I have the m18 PAL-0 but the M12 is a nice smaller version to have. Just bought one! Cheers legend!

You are welcome. How good are they!

      • Yeah definitely top range they have! As someone who works on cars, I really digs their magnetic lights… shame the garden tools are $$ lol

  • Lights have High Definition Output now…

Good for working under the bonet, bikes, etc

I think what they are referring when they say High Definition Output is in fact the CRI of the light. If that is the case I can confirm they look far better than less expensive emmiters found in other brands work lights. Colours are more true and less washed out or blue/lifeless. If you use lights like this a lot and value the quality of light colour coming out of your work light I can personally say its well worth it. I orderd one when I saw it at this price. I paid $80 for my last one seccond hand and I was happy with it for that price.

  • I need flood light for my backyard and garage work. I own Ryobi tools and batteries. Does this come with battery? Can some recommend me a good stick floodlight alternative?

No battery included. This deal only makes sense if you have bought into the M12 battery system. That being said it’s a good line of tools. There are some good deals on their other skins M12 Hackzall Fuel $197 and the non-fuel $137 and M12 Drill (brushed/non-fuel $107). Personally I would recommend their fuel drill impact driver combo like this when it comes around again.

    Thanks OP, this is perfect.

My Wuben E7 just ain't cutting it (apples and oranges, I know) and it's so difficult to find a work light that isn't 6500k.

    • Yeah the E7 with the 5000K emmiter is alright but most as you say are in the 6500K temperature which is disapointing. I'm not sure the exact temperature of this light but it is far more pleasing to the eye then the wuben 6500K emmiters found in the standard torches that dont have a high CRI sku. Using a phone whitebalance app as compared with my high CRI Wuben X2 was measured at 5050K with the slightest green shift (0.005) and the PAL 4500K with almost no magenta/green shift (0.000). For additional context the Wuben C3 measured to be 6450K (0.010 green shift) and a Wuben X0 (High CRI) 5100K (-0.001) and Wuben X1 5900K (0.006) Wuben E7 (6500K variant) 6700K (0.006) which i purchased before the 5000K was released. The app was not calibrated but we are really after a relative difference so for that it should be adequate.

  • It's showing as 'unavailable' to me?

    It's back for $70.86

  • I have one of these and it is AMAZING.

  • Bought 2 since the price came down to 70.86.

  • 71.38 now

  • Nice find OP - I’ve got 2 of those and highly recommend them. Perfect for working on the car with their magnetic back or as power bank while camping.

  • I’m looking for battery operated high lumens under $100. Is there a deal? Not sure if Ryobi has deals as I own Ryobi products.
