Maybe not a huge deal but appears to be cheaper than Ali. Camera is 20% and then part of the ‘add two get 5% off’ promo. Some other products also discounted.

Uncle Rico strikes again!!
Ha! I spend far too much time on Reolink deals. God knows I don’t need any more cameras…
That said, I’m not familiar with this cam. I generally avoid Reolink 5mp cams since most don’t have the h265 codec, meaning larger files sizes for worse resolutions. I usually find the 8mp models to be the sweet spot and worth any premium over the 5mp equivalent.
Finally managed to score the CX820's for what I think is a decent price ($123.52 each).
Recent EOFY deals stacked with a "REOZDAFALL10OFFFVJG" code which still applied 10% off via the Australian website.
All of the other codes seemed to have reduced percentages, or there was a comment that the best discount was already applied.
Will let you know how it goes replacing the 520's.@hellrazorone: Nice work.
That’s the best price I’ve seen for the new CX820’s which still haven’t made their way to Reolink’s AliE storefront yet. Hopefully they are a relatively easy drop in replacement for your 520A’s. The improved resolution, night vision and H265 codec should all be big improvements for you.
I got my first dome - a Duo 2V - during the current sale and unfortunately the screw holes don’t align with my existing bullet or turret cams, or my G.Craftsman junction boxes. It’s a different form factor and is significantly larger than those models and the CX820. Let us know how you go retrofitting yours and how it performs once up and running.
Any good reolink deals you see at the moment? (Not in the ecosystem at all and want to set up in house)
Thanks 🙏@cjm_007: The RLN36 36ch NVR has just gone out of stock on Ali but should be replenished tomorrow. At US$105 after codes and coupons, it’s less than AU$160 and is a great starting point. But you’ll need to add a HDD and POE switch to get rolling. There’s an 8 port Keeplink POE switch available for $34 at www.ozbargain.com.au/node/911476
If you search “Reolink 4K PoE IP Camera 8MP Outdoor PTZ Auto Tracking” from the coins page on AliE, you’ll find the exceptional PTZ duel-lens Trackmix and its little brother single lens 830A for just under US$86 (AU$133) and US$75 (AU$116) after coins and codes. They’re a great starting point. Their best night vision cam, the CX810 isn’t currently discounted too much, but keep it on your watch list since you’ll want a couple of them (or the CX410 & CX820 which aren’t currently listed on AliE) for after dark.
They are listed under “Reolink ColorX” and you can get a two pack for US$122 after discounts, which works out at $95 AU each. Almost half the price of their usual retail listings but still $20 more than you’ll find them on their best Ali sales.
Edit - belatedly realised you previously post the RLN36 deal from Reolink.com. Apologies for repeating the info from your earlier thread. Haven’t deleted since the comments on CX810 and Trackmix may still assist in putting your cam collection together…
I’ve had a look online in an attempt to compile a list of all sub-8mp Reolink cameras which support the h.265 codec.
Apparently the Duo 2 range, Argus 3 Ultra (set to Clear, not Fluent vision-mode) and the current hardware version of the 510A, 520A and 510WA all utilise the h.265 codec, alongside all other cams over 8mp. So that should mean this relatively cheap cam could be a good wifi option for anyone looking to gapfill any non-POE outposts with a wi-fi option. Thanks OP - and sorry for the confusion…
Reading through the item description. It says 'indoor' usage. Meaning cannot be used for 'outdoor' purpose ?
The PoE version is $50 delivered from Reolinks refurb eBay site using JUNEOFY15
And the wifi version is around $55 delivered but only in black:
Is Reolink better or Eufy ecosystem? Wireless only. I've heard mixed reviews about Homebase 3
It's soooooooo much cheaper than eufy that it would have to be a lot worse to not be the winner overall.
Depends what you define as ‘better’?
Do some research to see what you need first.
The channel (TheHookup) is excellent for camera reviews. Here’s one specifically for Reolink cameras:
https://youtu.be/InBRTveD9_w?si=u8fBfv9zboVk1CCTUsually Reolink would be considered better than other brands because:
Cheaper
High quality construction
High quality video
Offline storage
No subscription fees
Excellent features (audio, spotlights, alarms, etc)
Great day time footage
Average to good night time footage
Colours night colour on some cams
On-device detection (vehicle/pet/human)
Works with many products (Reolink NVR, UniFi NVR, SD Card, Home Asssitant, Frigate via ONVIF etc)But only you can truely answer the question. Watch some YouTube on what cameras you need and what products are available.
I tout Reolink as the best for lots of people - can’t count how many times I’ve shared that YouTube link to point it out. You can get some especially good deals at the moment due to sales (though they do come around often, so don’t get too much FOMO)
Full disclosure, I only own/install Reolink & UniFi camera products & have installed them at a few places inc my own. They are always all wired/PoE except for my UniFi front doorbell.
Decent pricing by Amazon standards, but still ends up being US$41 / AU$63 per camera after coins and coupons at AliExpress. Further 20% off via AliExpress and ShopBack 10% rebates.
