Is it the blue blazer with gold buttons that give it away for you? The model looks like he is trying to give out Boston vibes in his blue ‘blazer’ and tan chinos. I am guessing he is also wearing loafers or brogues on his feet. No wonder the brand is exiting the country.

BB are sliding into obscurity these days but they're a big deal - they've outfitted nearly every US president who's ever held office. I wouldn't wear their stuff but they were one of the most important clothing companies of the 20th century.
They were the first US store to make ready to wear clothing a thing. They also popularised the button down Oxford collar. They were huge at one point, and are still very popular in Japan.
Usual story though: brand got sold, owners got greedy, overextended, quality dropped, and they diluted the brand

Agree with what you are saying. But the second part of the story is since they diluted the brand and filed for bankruptcy, they hired Ken Ohashi as CEO and Michael Bastian as designer. Their quality is getting better but I think their downfall this time in Australia is lack of variety (compared to their American site), poor marketing (very few people know their return) with lack of brand awareness (as shown here on Ozbargain).
