Grabbed one. Great price. Cheers OP
Microplastics… we're all dead.
Coming from where (in this particular unit)?
They are probably referring to the non-stick coating on the base. It's not all glass.
any idea about a good complete glass brand/model?
@YLUO: Yeah, even I got to know recently and planning to buy one for myself (Probably wait till Prime day). Reviews seems to be decent everywhere
Not just the base, the entire unit excluding the glass window is plastic and the entire draw is non stick.
Its not a question of if the non stick will fail, its how many weeks until it starts.
Whoa! I thought it was a joke comment until product link came out later . Thought these were mostly metal construction except for the nonstick coating
Some sweet, sweet pfas…
At least we no longer need coffins. Just whack us in the recycle bin when we are done.
Use a liner to prevent your food coming into contact with the nonstick.
Make sure the liner isn't coated with pfas though. They don't (generally) use natural wax anymore on baking paper.
It's probably a good idea to switch out the pan and rack with something that doesn't have non-stick chems all over it.Compostable baking paper shouldn't have any PFAS in it. Just make sure that it's got the compostable verification seal.
1700W, so each basket only has a 850w element?
Good question!
Can someone dumb it down and tell me what this means for cooking?
I would also like to know this!
Saul Goodman or Michael Scott?
Good looking unit, however the RRP is overinflated. Sells for this price on MyDeal/Woolworths so can also apply discount codes and earn points there if that's your fancy.
is that free delivery?
I own this and got it from Catch sales, if anyone has questions let me know :)
Are they easy to clean especially the heating element on top? One of my pain points is that my current air fryer makes it impossible to remove the heating element unless a full disassembly is performed. Thanks!
this seems to be the case for virtually all air fryers.
I use silicone liners similar to these and they have worked very well (I reccomend rectangle ones not square ones). Cleaning has been super easy with these capturing 95% + of the mess
I will check the heating element this afternoon, but I don't believe it is removable!
What do you like about it? What do you dislike? Would you buy it again?
Yes, I would buy it again at the discounted rate I bought it as (similar price to this deal).
I like:
The sync feature
The different temperatures in different baskets
The cooking speed
The cooking consistency (seems to cook well regardless of location in the basket)I dislike:
The height, it could be a cm or 2 extraGood to know. I've bought one and its our first air fryer, so will be interesting to try it.
@geekcohen: I hope you love it as much as I do :)
I highly recommend you grab some rectangular silicone moulds as well for easy cleaning (you can use alliminum foil and make your own if you want to avoid plastic)
Cleaning is difficult
Absolute bargain and a great air fryer.
That's a great deal. Same price on mydeal with EOFY coupon.

Amazon recently made changes to delivery location. After dominating for the last few years the are looking to profit.
Oh well might be time to stop paying for Amazon prime then.
What about the My deal alternative ?
What is an 'ATL' model? Thanks
It means All Time Low regarding the price.
Thank you!
There is some drama regarding the political association of the parent company.

Thanks. I'm not sure why you're being down voted.
Because it implies that people will happily buy products made from cheap Chinese labour but then draw the line at political affiliation with Trump. Literal virtue signalling with zero moral high ground.
Avoiding buying or using anything made in China is virtually impossible. Trump, on the other hand, is easy.
Good to know. Thanks.
Thank you this is good to know

Could be your delivery address. Its in stock for me.
I bought this from the end of Catch sales (RIP) as my first air fryer. I absolutely love it!
It's really quick to preheat, about 2 minutes all up.
It cooks a little slower than instructions say (so if the packet says 18 minutes at 200C, usually it's more like 19-20 minutes) but not a big deal. You can even use the preheat time to start the cooking process and follow the instructions on the packet.
It's pretty easy to clean, just run the baskets under some water to loosen any crumbs and use a sponge to wipe them down. The windows get a little murky, but that's ok.For my first Air Fryer, I'm really happy with it and would buy it again in a heartbeat. I can't think of any features I'm missing for an air fryer, although I was keen on the air fryers that had a rotisserie, but that's not a big loss as I still have an oven/BBQ that does roasts

89 aud plis 15 discound you can get 78 aud
That's for the 5.7L vs this is the 8L. Still a good deal though.
Don't know how, but I somehow got $55.20 in promotional credit. Got it for $93.80
Did you return something?
No. I suspect my 30% discount for Amazon Business promo.
Do you have Amazon Business? If so, I think you might have used your Amazon Business 30% off ($100 cap) promotion on it.
149.00 -15.00 air fryer promotion -40.20 Amazon business 30% promotion (15 + 40.20 = $55.20 total promotional credit) = $93.80 final price Yeah and I am thinking it is do with that. I had not used my 30% off. I didn't tick anything, just applied it.

Seems very cheap for the specs.
