Yeah this deal is more for visitors/people on holidays who can't buy annual pass for locals.
Can they be trusted to ensure my safety on rides or are they still cutting corners and risking/taking peoples lives?
This is just silly as there has been multiple enquiries and even amendments to legislation (https://www.legislation.qld.gov.au/view/whole/html/asmade/sl…) that has made it harder for operators to get away with the safety responsibilities. I'm not away of any major issues since the 2016 incident.

Silly question but where do you put the promo code? I cant see a section anywhere in the cart of checkout to add the code. Any help would be awesome and appreciated.

The promo code listed in the deal description currently does, click on any ticketing product then when on the ticketing website you can enter the promo code using the menu on the top left.

We went a couple of years ago and got was it a sad visit. Multiple rides or if service. While sections were closed.
It really felt like a deserted park. So you're sure diligence before hand and check what is open.
My understanding is in the last couple of years many major rides have been overhauled and replaced.
This would explain why so many sections were closed off when you went, but it'll be different now as most of them are brand new.
This is in contrast with movie world, which hasn't had a major refresh in almost a decade, so it's probably their turn to have many closed sections etc.
Went last year for the first time in over 15 years and it was great! The new jungle-themed area is well-executed, and King Claw has opened since so we'll probably head back soon.

Someone above said get the $99 annual pass instead. We did last year and only went once, that was enough for us. Unless you live close and maybe have young kids that like the zoo part which will make you go more than once.
