    Thanks OP, I've been watching the ALDI item drop in price to $120 but it seems cumbersome and a semi-permanent commitment as it mounts on roof racks.

      Where did you see the aldi shower for $120?

      The car roof tube absorbs heat so you can have a warm if not hot shower. It also stores the water. This device just pumps water. You'll need to get water to wherever you need to use it and will need to heat it if wanting a warm shower. There's a benefit in using both.

        I get the benefits of the roof mounted version, but it doesn't suit my needs as well as this portable & flexible option. I have a 25L water container I can leave in the sun easily enough and you don't have to be right next to the car to use the portable one.

        Make sure to read the comments under the video above, you can't leave it permanently on your roof racks.

          That comment is silly. If course you can leave it on your roof all the time - the water gets hot, so sometimes you may need to cool it down if required. If it gets below freezing you need to empty it first.

    I thought to get one of these for camping showers but decided against, as the end will not fit into 20L jerry containers which is annoying. I chose to get the Kickass one and its been good so far. Time will tell.
