DAE have major decision paralysis trying to decide which listing to use the discount on?

  • is this any good or the previous deal of 2200 series was better?

    • +1

Specifications are the same except for no LatteGo. The 1200 has a classic milk frother.

    • Pretty much paying $80 for automatic milk frothing. If you only drink espressos, or want to froth your own milk, that one was better.

    • +2

the frother is not great at all, just creates air bubbles that goes flat quickly, the coffee machine is brilliant though. This is from my current experience. Also cleaning apart from the descalling is not required.

      • +1

getting neg'd for giving my current experience.. lol!

      • You mean don't need to take apart as there's no built in automatic frother ? Yeah for $80 I guess I can purchase a nespresso frother or the aldi one. Not sure how well they are though

  • thank you for your response, do you have one of this or have any experience with this model ?

    • No. Read or watch some reviews.

      • +3

I read some reviews on JB's , some mixed reviews but at this price just bought it, buy now, think later i guess .

        Thanks OP

Had the LatteGo 4300 and it died as soon as it was out of warranty. Poorly made and we will look to other brands next time. Delonghi seems better made, our machine at work gets constant use and still going strong. The plastic on the Philips seems cheap and cleaning not so great.

  • Can't stack this with the 30% off first business order deal?

  • +4

I use this with Aldi/Colesworth beans for my and the Mrs' coffee every morning. Gets the job done in about 5 minutes and tastes as good as anything you'd typically get from a random cafe. It's been working without too many dramas for about 2 years so far.

    • This you will need to frother the milk yourself right?

      • Yes, doesn't take long to get the hang of.

  • how does this compare with say Sunbeam EM5000K?

    • +2

This has a built in grinder

      • +1

        oh ic thanks mate

  • Very very good value, ordered and I think needs to be dialled in for the batch of beans

  • Will jb hifi price match this?

  • Received the product, however there is no aqua filter to be found anywhere in the box.

Anyone else have the same issue?

Coffee is makes is pretty bad also. Will be seeking a return due to missing part.
