I purchased using PayPal. Serial is then available in your Gamersgate account in the “My Library” section. Then in Steam I selected “Activate a product on Steam” from the games menu, Typed in the serial then started downloading the game.

    Obviously some history there.
    I have only used them for keys which are available instantly, so haven’t had a problem.

      Yeah the christmas sale lol.

      They cancelled all my orders including standard price item and refused to refund. Had to paypal dispute to get it back.

    Gamers gate are fine. Obviously the Bethesda & BL2 stuff up didn't go down well, but they actually are a good retailer, and basically every store makes mistakes.

      But they done fatal mistake by allocating all of their resources to Bethesda and BL2 4 packs mess - They hardly response any of my inquiries related or non related to BL2 screw up, like my request for BL2 Season Pass… it's nearly a month without any respond.

        Not worth arguing about it, but there have been many successful deals on here for Gamersgate in the past (http://www.ozbargain.com.au/deals/gamersgate.com), not to mention there were even people who were given a full refund despite using some of the keys (http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/89361#comment-1177369).

        If you don't want to trust them, then fair enough, but they haven't had any problems like this in the past (that I'm aware of) and I think they did just about as good a job as they could have given how big of a screw up they made.

  I've been generally happy with GG, though their downloading/patching system is a bit naff.

  The game's OK, very similar to GalCiv II — not quite as deep but a nicer interface. I'm waiting for it to come down in price a bit more.
