I've tried a few places in Sydney, but would love to know a few good ones you guys recommend?
Where to Find The Best Butter Chicken and Fresh Naan Bread

I had the frozen one from Aldi the other night, the cheap one and it was okay. I'd give it a 1.5/10. Barely any chicken in it, but the sauce was okay. If you added some chilli and used fresh rice I bet it would be a 4/10.
Old mate asks for "best butter chicken" and you come up with an Aldi special that you rated 1.5/10.
It was only like $3.80.
For 3.80 you want full breast ?
He's on a dope prescription. 1.5* means he eats 2.5 times as much, to make the grade
There was this place at UNSW called Jewel of India or something. They used to make the BEST butter chicken. Looks like they closed the shop. I searched far and wide in Sydney and overseas to find one that tasted like it, but couldn't find anything that even came close. They were either too soury or too sweet.
If anyone knows what I'm talking about and has found one like it, please do mention. I'm all ears.
Don't be lazy…
Cook it youself, it is very easy recipe to masterShare your recipe?
Just eat a tub of lard. Healthier
No it isn't. Are you talking about the premade powder? That doesn't count as cooking
If not cooking from scratch, closest thing to the real deal that i've found from the supermarket is Spice Tailor's, which comes with actual real spices (normally $5-6 for a pack, but goes down to $3 when on special. For under $10 when adding meat for 2-3 servings, 20 minutes to cook and being almost as yum as the average Indian Takeaway, I think the effort/price to results ratio is outstanding. Not orthodox, but i like to add some sliced onions to the frying pan first, and some garlic if i have some on hand: gives it a bit of extra depth and texture.
No serious Indian buys spices from Coles, you need to do better than that.

This, probably the best Indian (authentic) in Sydney
Yeah, because butter chicken is authentic.
I didn’t specifically say butter chicken dude
Hands down the best was at Surjit's Indian Restaurant on Parramatta road in Annadale. Unfortunately after the owner passed away last year, they have closed down :-(
Its subjective, what one person finds to bd the best, another will hate it,
This recipe is pretty popular with my family and friends. https://www.allrecipes.com/recipe/174543/slow-cooker-butter-…
We often go to DFO Homebush for fresh naans, but the butter chicken isn't bad there either. The challenge is to get there.
Merrylands Stockland food court.
Most indian places get their bases from curry masters at Hornsby. Usually available at Indian grocery stores or online.
