Good thinking and that's sounds like a good deal also might be worth posting for others to see, The tools in the deal I posted are already over spec'd for my needs and I would personally prefer a recip over the grinder.
I have the same kit for the last 2 months. Totally love them. Agree that these are over spec’ed for the average household job.
Are they brushless?
Under Specifications it says "Brushless".
There doesn't seem to be any item around $1 that's a qualifying brand and within the power tools and power garden categories 🤔
Are you sure that's an eligible item? The T&C states "Products must be currently stocked and within the power tools and power garden categories".
That grinder disc is under "Tool Accessories".@digitale: Yeah had no issue with last spend n save used the discs to get above the amount, if your worried just don’t open the kit until the GC is issued within a week, then return if it’s not
@digitale: Yeah I had drill bits and a grinder disc approved. Neither were classed as power tools on the website.
Thanks, did this.
NOTE: the price has dropped to $489 so will need to purchase $11 worth of other stuff. sneaky buggers…
I had the kit in this post and then bought this one you have showed. I sold the original kit but ended up getting the McLaren dcd805 equivalent drill again because yes dcd1007 is a lot more powerful but is also 1.5x the weight and a crap load more torque. There are some jobs I prefer to have the gentler tool. Both kits a great. The dcd805 + dcf850 is a lot more compact.
If you don't have an sds drill I'd definitely go with the dcd1007 kit. If you are planning on drilling loots of holes in wood/plasterboard I probably wouldn't want to be carrying the dcd1007.
At the end of the day I think the dcd1007+dcf860 with the addition of the dcd85m is a good balance 😂
They changed the price to 489, any recommendations to get for $11
Bought this as 429 last week, and they still not send me the gift card.
same for me.
Do you think we can ask them to refund the difference now?Normally they do this when you buy a new one and use old receipt to return.
And the gf card will be withdraw as well.
I've spoken with their team to follow up on my own redemption and it sounds like they've been completely swamped for the last two months, since these promo's kicked off the first time around this season.
Give them another week and if you haven't heard then give them a call.
They don’t send you the gift card, you need to fill out an online form. There’s a link in the terms and conditions.
https://trade.bunnings.com.au/campaign/redemption-gift-cardafter filled out the form, aren't they suppose to
send
by email?Takes up to five business days. I got mine same day but I had emailed them.
I am looking at this to compare - https://toolkitdepot.com.au/metabo-2pc-brushless-combo-kit-a…
Can anyone advise if its all good?Is the bonus repri saw decent?
Yes, feels really good in the hand and it cuts
How long do you need to wait to receive repri? Instant from bunning?
Yes instant from Bunnings. Check they have stock first.
it says instore offer, not sure how it works if doing online order
Did anyone get blades included with their saw?
No. Had to buy separately.
Anyone received email on gift card redeem saying that purchase total not meet spend band ?
I received a "Brands/items purchased are not one of the selected brands applicable for this redemption" using a DeWalt and Bosch purchase to make the spend.
I've just noticed the contradictory terms - the main page refers to Bosch Professional and the T&Cs notes Bosch as the qualifying brand.I sent their support email regarding this, but looks like they never read it.
buy this $499 much higher end, add $1+ DeWalt item for $100 GC
