The promotional code you entered cannot be applied to your purchase.

    Grrrr

    • yeah I tried too, It looks like you needed to sign up to prime before 31st of may to be able to use that code but I'm not 100% sure. If code doesn't work could potentially get Officeworks to price match and get it for $74.1.

    Maximum Power 3.6E+2 Watts

    Almost 1.21E+9 Watts!

Note this model has no USB connectivity to let a connected device know that it's on battery\the battery is low etc. - for that you need to go up to the UT850EG.

    • …which is 31% off at $109 (though strangely it shows different prices depending where you see it, and indeed it is cheaper for me in Melbourne at $109, when previously I had it set to a town in rural Vic and it was only 25% off at $119).

  • Do these have a hard power limit at the specified wattage (e.g. is 360W maximum output for this fella)?

I can see my PC pulls 440W - 500W under maximum load, but normally at idle or moderate use only 99W - 140W, so wondering if I MUST upgrade to something above 500W with some headroom, or can make do smaller given it's just enoughto save and cleanly shutdown?

    • You need some headroom.

Lead acid batteries are destroyed if you heavily discharge them - ideally your UPS can shut down your PC and still have 70% battery remaining, or more.

If it's discharging to 10% then you'll have to replace the batteries very frequently.

      • I'm hoping that for the most part it'll never have to discharge at all :-) But thanks for the info
